Good Friday
Good morning all.
Its now almost 8am and the sun is already out, looks like another scorcher, but I aren't complaining.
I am going into the charity shop today 10-4, I thought why not, as if I stay here all day I shall have no one to talk to so thought at least if I go in there there will be something going on.
Karen, did you get a good sleep last night?
Do hope you all have a good day.

Re: Good Friday
Good morning Marion and all who follow great here again this morning. I have had a lazy morning, cuppa in bed then shower and breakfast and watched a tv programme I recorded last night - Its me or the Dog. I recorded it because it was a labradoodle which just needed some basic commands and the lady who owned him was just so wishy washy. She got it eventually but I can't see her keeping it up. The dog was lovely just like Callie and Victoria the trainer had him sorted out immediately. It was a USA one.
Dont know what I am doing today, think I might have a go at the ATCs, they are small enough to work outside with Have fun at the charity shop Marion. Which one is it. I know I gave up work at pre-school because I was no longer enjoying it and Sally had gone off to University but it only lasted a couple of months of not talking to anyone before I found a job in the shop for 2 days a week.

Re: Good Friday
Afternoon, my lounge is on the cool side of the house, so I am nice and cool at the moment.
Jacky I work at the Sue Ryder shop, one of the smaller ones, but I love it. When John died the house was so empty, I would get the washing and ironing done, clean the house and that was it, I was looking for jobs to do. I am 66 now, and if I went back to paid work my pension would be all up the wall, and it took them four months to sort it out before.
Lou, so what have you been up to today?
The shop was quite busy this morning, and everyone that came in seemed in a holiday mood so once again I really enjoyed it. And I even found myself two new outfits! they are blouses with skirts to match, my daughter says they remind her of a hippy lol but honest, they aren't but they are really nice. £3.25 per item, and with my "staff discount" I got one for free

Re: Good Friday
Sent the day indoors! Lots of cleaning and sorting but the house looks tidiest its been all year! Just the bed to make up then I can relax for an hour before going off to choir - big performance Sunday night!
Had the house to myself and enjoyed the peace and quiet! May do some crafting tomorrow and my son's coming for a meal on Sunday - roast lamb and rhubard crumble on the menu.
Sorted out another 2 sacks for the charity shop - they're collecting on Wednesday. Hope everyone else has managed to get out in the sun. may go for a walk in Banstead woods - the bluebells are out early and this will probably be the last time I get to see them!
