Waterfall Cards Empty Waterfall Cards

Post  Christine 1 Sun Aug 03, 2008 2:15 pm

Hi folks,

Just found a sheet for 'waterfall cards' and it looks easy enough, but i need some help & wondered if anyone can advise me on a small matter.

Got all the pics stuck on the right sections where the folds are but all i am asking is how do you stick it onto a card?

I know there are 2 small flaps at the bottom and i have stuck them down on a card with double sided tape. It sort of works you can pull the tab & the pics come down like they should but don't go up that easy.

What does everyone else use to stick them onto cards?

Please help as i am trying to learn new stuff - had a go at shrink plastic & that was a disaster (think i have either got the wrong sheets or that they are too old ) so i thought try this.

Cheers

Its a while since I done one an I have only ever done the one lol
but I am sure I just used double sided tape, I stuck the scored piece
to the horizontal piece before I actually attached it to card that way
I could centre it better, then just used a bit of double sided on the
horizontal piece and a couple of brads to be sure it didnt fall off lol!
Hope that makes sense scratch

Thank's for that, i don't have any brads but i do have eyelets although doubt that would be the same.

Perhaps i just need to put a bit extra on the back bit so the 'waterfall' moves back & forth a lot better, may try that out. In the mean time i have attached the one i have done

on second thoughts i haven't cos don't know how to add pics - HELP!!

Thanks Jane, in fact i did it first of all but it filled almost the whole page so i had to re-vamp or size it in Photobucket & now (as they have revamped the site & haven't a clue what i am doing "!!!) made a note on how to do them.

I think looking at the other one it needs sort of background hence using brads etc so next one i will do that - as i have another 2 sheets i can work on. Also once i get the hang of it i am going to make my own.

I step at a time i think though hey?

Thanks for your help & being patient with me.

Ive only made the one waterfall card which is the one from Making Cards. I only made that as a lady came into the shop for help and I didn't know what to do so I told her to come back and I would work it out. I enjoyed making it but still havent got round to doing another. Really must put for variety into my cardmaking. Very Happy

In mine that is over on my site www.picturetrail.com/moorestuff You can see I used gromenets on mine. I also used a little heavier piece of cardstock on the bottom of it.
