Good morning ladies.

The sun is out here again, I am just loving it, and trying to make the most of it.

It is my grandaughter Hannah's birthday today, she is 3. Deborah's in laws arrived yesterday from Wales, and yes, she gets on with them, wish I had inlaws like them So today they are having just a tea and cake do for her at home. Then tomorrow its off to a play centre where she is having a party for her 12 friends from nursery. I said she is like the Queen, having two birthdays lol So I am off to their's for tea today and then off to the play centre tomorrow, don't know how long I shall stay there though, as it does tend to get very noisy.

I am going to try and make a list of things I need to do, and then start doing them in an afternoon as this is when I really get down and miserable. So hopefully my list will soon start to get smaller. And after that I am sure the garden will keep me going during the summer and when the winter comes I shall have to think of something else lol

Hope you all have a good day

Good morning Marion and all who follow Very Happy Happy birthday to your granddaughter Very Happy Have a lovely tea party with her today.

Yesterday didn't go as I planned. Martin decided to go out and fly his aeroplane (model) which he was repairing the wing on. The weather was ideal for it as there was no wind and a clear day. In the meantime I checked my emails and had one to say the portable solar panel which he ordered on ebay should be arriving so that meant I couldn't go off to the garden centre in case I missed it Mad Just as well I was in as another thing he had ordered arrived by post and needed signing for too. I had an early lunch and just as I finished it, the panel arrived so I was ready to go off to the Garden Centre. Bought some more plants which I wasn't intending too as I went to Hilliers - which I have passed by for years and kept saying I wanted to look around but when I go there I would pass 3 others so it never seemed worth the extra journey. I hadn't realised how close it was though to the 3rd one which I go to quite often. Anyway, they had a lovely selection of perennial plants which I just couldn't resist. There were some Hairy Pot plants, plants which were planted in pots made of coconut fibre so you just plant the whole pot Very Happy They just looked so healthy. I went for plant supports and came away without them so stopped at one of the other centres on my way home (the last one as it was on the right side of the road) and they didnt have them Mad I got home the same time as Martin who was all apologetic and said he would take me back up to the other centre to get some. All turned out ok in the end but I didnt get to plant any of my plants after all as by this time my back was killing me again.

Hope I can get some in today as the weather forecast on the met office say thunderstorm at 1.00pm affraid Beautiful at the moment so better get on. Eurovision tonight, love it cheers
