Featherbeds
Have any of you got one of these that go on top of the mattress? If so what do you think of it?
I sent for one last week after debating for a long time and picked one with loads of 5* reviews. I've just put it on the bed but am not convinced I'll like it as it doesn't feel as soft as they say they do and the covering rustles! Will see how I get on with it tonight.

Re: Featherbeds
We had one for Sally, but you need to shake it every day to puff it up It was an expensive one Northern Nights from QVC. It didn't really work and in the end we bought a memory foam topper and that was great.

This is a Northern Nights one but not a very expensive one as they didn't have such good reviews.

Re: Featherbeds
Come on then Sue how did you get on in the bird bath , oops I mean the feathered nest last night did the rustling stop ?? What exactly are they ment to do ??????
Re: Featherbeds
They are supposed to cushion and support you but Sally said she just flattened it yet she is as thin as a rake so I don't know what would happen if I lay on it.
Re: Featherbeds
And supposedly cooler too! I have to say it was very comfortable and I slept well and had no aches pains or stiffness this morning! First time for ages but don't know whether it was coincidence or not. Time will tell!
