Friday, St. Swithins Day
Good morning all.
I am trying to make out what this weather is doing. For the past two days I have been in trousers and a thin wooly top, its been that cold.
Now this morning the sun is out ! doesn't make sense, but I am pleased to see it.
Charity shop for me this morning.
My car passed the MOT yesterday but its only 3 years old so I would have been a bit upset if it hadn't.
Have a good day.

Re: Friday, St. Swithins Day
Good morning Marion, hope you have a good day at the shop today. It was really quite hot here yesterday but I think it will be changing tonight. Got to go and water the pots for my friend again today and then some food shopping. My sister text me last night and she is bringing Mum over tomorrow for a visit. That is my younger sister not the one who does everything for Mum. It will be a break for her.

Morning ladies. Lovely and sunny here so does that mean it will be like it for the next 40 days? Somehow I doubt it! Got to water next doors tomatoes but will wait till the postman has been so I can pick his post up as well, then go and collect Roy to come down here. he usually walks or catches the bus but I need to take him his washing and the joint out of the freezer for the weekend.
Re: Friday, St. Swithins Day
I think it will be raining before midnight Sue - so we can expect 40 days of rain Martin has just cut the hedge at the back of the garden and I have done a little bit of weeding before we get it. When I was watering my friends pots this morning I heard a strange bird call and there at the end of her garden was a green woodpecker - I have never seen one so close before, just a couple of times I have seen a flash of green as one flies by when we have been away Hope you have a great time at Scotney Castle Janet
