HELLO

Hello, my name is Claire and i have been crafting for about 5 years. I like card making, knitting, crochet, well most things that are crafty!!
I have been married to my husband for 14 years, he is lovely and put up with me making a mess everywhere when I am in the craftig mood. He does make me laugh, as when I show him a new card that I have spent hours making, he sit there and smiles, saying " That nice, love". Bless him. Card making is not his thing!!!
We have two lovely kids that like to make cards to.

Welcome to the forum Claire, your hubby sounds like mine, always says he likes the cards. When we go to craft shows he asks questions about things as if he's interested but it gets annoying sometimes We have been married for 42 years this month. Hope you enjoy the forum, it's been a bit thin on the ground at the moment with children on school holidays.

Hi Claire and welcome - I too have been married for nearly 42 years and my husband encourages me in my 'hobby' We're getting rid of loads of furniture when we emigrate but he insisted i take ALL my craft room contents with me! (as long as he gets an HD TV and can watch sport 24 hours a day)

Used to chat on here all the time but the last year has been hectic as we are in the final countdown - waiting for the house sale to complete, the shippers to come in and flights to book. I'll be back on the forum regularly once we're settled in Adelaide (subject to time differences) and hope to post picture of all my stuff once I get back into regular classes as well as all my news.

Do share pictures of some of your work in the gallery on here - its easy if you have pictures on Photobucket or Flickr.

I live in Bognor Regis, which is lovely when it is sunny, but not so nice when it is raining.
I like to make alsorts of cards, I am into easel cards at the moment. And I like to make papper rose to at the moment. I have even got my daugther to help me make them

Oh Bognor brings back memories of my teenage years Claire, I went with my parents to Butlins there a few times.

Hello and a very warm welcome from me to, we might be just a small forum but you will find true friends here, always there for you when needed through the good and not so good times I live on the north Kent coast in Herne Bay with hubby of 41 years. Our Lou is a lovely lady and must live near you

I do know Lou. She live's just around the corner from me. All our kids go to school together. She is a fab lady.
Hope you all have a good weekend what ever you are doing. I have it off, so i will be getting to kids stuff ready for school on Monday. It could be a long weekend.

Ladies this is the mum of Georgia and Emilys best friends Sian and Joseph or JJ as we know him or Bud if we are feeling sentimental!

Hmmmm paper roses and easel cards...oh yes Claire is fab at them cos I have the proof sitting on the mantlepiece! Also she is to blame for us getting a kitten, having recently acquired two gorgeous white ones called Leroy and Stitch!
