Born and Bred
Does anyone watch Born and Bred?
I try and watch it every day if I can, but I missed it the other day and I guess that the actor Michael French died in that prog, (no not for real).
I saw an episode where he seemed quite well, and then yesterday his on screen wife was putting flowers on his grave.
Can anyone put me out of my misery, lol no, not to kill me off, but to tell me what happened?

Re: Born and Bred
Just Googled it Marion as I dont watch it.
In Tom's absence, Deborah helps to set up a blood bank to blood-type everyone in Ormston alongside Dr Donald Newman (Richard Wilson) and a young doctor from nearby village, Rattenbury, Dr Nick Logan (Oliver Milburn). As Deborah and the children excitedly wait for Tom's return from New Zealand she is given the news that he died on the passage back to England; trying to save a boy who fell overboard.
Mr Henry Williamson (Nigel Havers), Surgeon General at Rattenbury Hospital, visits Ormston to pay his respects to Tom. He also makes Deborah an offer to buy Ormston Memorial on behalf of the NHS.
Hope that helps

Re: Born and Bred
Jacky, thank you so much for this. So it looked as if he died whilst at sea
I have been trying to see if I can find it on line to see the episode again but so far no luck.
Thanks again Jacky, at least now I am in the picture.

Re: Born and Bred
Glad it helped. I have lost my internet connection today. Waiting for Martin to come in to sort it out - I was in the middle of watching a tutorial about my Scrapbook Artist and doing it as I went on so ended up losing the connection then messing up the page trying to remember what it said. Got so cold up there and had to put the fire on to warm up when I came down.
Re: Born and Bred
