Heat resistant pad Empty Heat resistant pad

Hi all
Just thought I would mention on the new forum about the pad I use to protect my worktop when I am using my heatgun
I got the idea from Anne
She was using one on a Moovision broadcast and I described it to Alan
It is a heat resistant pad called 'Plumbers Mate'
You can find it in most DIY stores and it isn't very dear (3-4 pounds I think)
I find it invaluable
It is a square about 12 inches square and is quite flexible a bit like chainmail to look like
