I think that periodically bots from Google and other search engines pop on forums per se to pick up key words so that when people like us do a search e.g Crafty Cow - this forum should appear on the list. I'm not sure how secure the site is if it lets all sorts of bots on, but I'm sure there is a security wall up somewhere to save us from the nasty bots he he
