Come on girls; tell me your best storage tips & decorating

I need all the help i can get; my starting point is an Ikea desk ; i have the desk and add on unit on top.

even got office drawers similar to the one in the series but they are very deep and it still look like a bomb hit everything around it.

I think apart from Jen's all our craft rooms look like bomb sites most of the time, I got Mike to put some shelves up for me, and have stacked the plastic drawers one lot on top of another, almost reaches the ceilling but keep alot of my larger tools and things in them(heavy stuff in the bottom ones of course) I keep my card stock in stacked intrays near my desk so it is easy to get to and I know at a glance what I have.
Maybe the deep drawers you have you could put plastic containers like Really Useful boxes in, I took all my Flower Soft out of the original plastic tubs and put them in the 0.2 litre ones, they stack well and if you get the clear ones then you can see what's in them.
