Im glad that over well half

We have had the carpet fitters here today they came at ten took one look at the rooms and said we cannot do them they need clearing out by this they meant bed , wardrobe and a little bedside cabinet, yeah righyt i said no one told us to clear the rooms. So they said get them cleared we will be back in an hour so i cleared the rest just left the bed and ripped out old carpet ( hubby was at work) i was well annoyed so did best i could they came back two hours later did not take them long to do the bedroom then they started the stairs and cut through a wire well the air was blue they fixed it . We decided to leave the attic bedroom till next week rant over

Hi Andrea when we had our carpets laid a couple of years ago they told us to empty the rooms as the fitter wont do any lifting but I thought this was standard anyway and we had the contents of 3 bedrooms in our living room plus the living room furniture, was a might snug in there At least the majority is done now though for you Andrea and you know what to do next time, but typical it would be when your hubby is at work huh

Hi Jan what a pain though, weve always fitted them ourselves but with hubby working it was getting the time so thats why we wanted them fitted, just glad they are done and yes we know what to do for the other room gosh how do other people cope with rooms full to te brim i am well pleased and our Hayley is too she has been sorting out rubbish and things going to charity

That's the other advantage Andrea, gives you chance to go through everything and have a good clear out

After my ex left I had 2 good fires in the garden with
all the rubbish and hoarded stuff he left behind
I told him he had a week to get what he wanted and
if he didnt collect it, it would be burnt, I even told
him I would burn his precious guitar

Yes Jayne burning and tidying is definatley cleansing for the soul

Thats hard work taking a carpet up on your own - glad it's all down now and you are pleased with it

That is what is stopping us having carpet laid, we have so many `bits and pieces` to move, and no where to put them while its being done, thats the trouble with a compact bungalow and our nephew is a carpet fitter too Lv Janet xx
