I'll be back!

Have had no broadband or TV for 24 hours and not likely to be fixed for another couple of days.
Popped into the office for a couple of hours and have now managed to log on here for a few minutes to say hello and try the quiz.
Miss talking to you all but hope to catch up with the rest of the posts by the end of the week!

Would you believe it - the Virgin Media repair man pulled into my neighbours drive (her system was down too) and at that exact moment TV and Broadband was restored - before he even got out of his van - SPOOKY!

They could have changed something in the box in the road before they came Jane. When ours went wrong the man drove off up the road and it started working a few minutes after. He came back and said the signal was too strong so had to reduce it
thought it would have been the other way round. Glad you are back though.

We had to have a little connector thing on our cable, something to do with the box being just over the road and being close to the source, it's supposed to make the signal clearer or something but Mike has taken it off before and we didn't notice any difference at all in the speed or quality of the service when it was removed so gawd knows what it actually does, nothing probably just trying to blind me with science
