Good morning Tuesday

Good morning ladies Not sure on the weather yet haven't dare look out of the window
Have to knuckle down today and make all my monthly cards, have all but done my ATCs just have to put the backs on and fill them out.
Has anyone been watching Celebrity Big Brother, can't believe what a tittle tattler Latoya Jackson is but that was funny last night when they put them in there suits that gave them an electric shock when the Americans got questions wrong (I know it's been done before but still very funny ) Have been watching Most Haunted Live as well and it does seem very staged I think and Stuart always seems to be around when things start happening, getting cynical in my old age
I was thinking of adding a scrapbooking section to the forum and just wanted to get others peoples opinions before I go ahead, don't want to create a new section if it's not going to get used, any other suggestions would be appreciated as well, so just give me a shout with your ideas.
Just looked it is too dark to see how the weather is so probably cold and damp

Bit murky out at the moment, but looks as if it could brighten up. But as I dont have to go out today, it doesnt matter if it does rain!
Got to get on with a birthday card, feed the rabbit, spot of ironing then try and fit in a bit of hoovering (notice which comes first!!)

We have been watching CBB... havent seen last nights programme yet... but remember watching it last year when the did the electric suit task.. it was so funny!

Morning everyone, dry and not so cold here but not bright. Looks as though it's beginning to get a bit lighter though. We have got to go in 10mins to meet the lady who is the group leader of our walking group. We are taking her around the walk we have organised for next month - we have to have someone else who knows the walk in case for some reason we can't turn up. So it's an extra 5 mile walk for us today. Wanted to do it yesterday but she couldn't make the Monday - so glad she couldn't as the weather was horrible yesterday. Hope you all have a good crafting day. I have been asked for another 3 cards this month so will have to get down to it when I get back from the walk. Have a good day all

Yes I have been watching CBB Jan and I nearly wet myself laughing last night Mutya just seemed to lose control over her whole body when she got zapped... and Tommy was most relaxed about it all.... he even seemed to enjoy it! Weirdo!!

I don't watch any of the ghostly programmes I am afraid! Don't believe in them so not interested on that score!

Good Morning all,
Sorry I haven't been in for a few days, my cat Jemmy has been unwell and we had her put to sleep this morning, she was 18 years old and there was nothing more the vet could do for her, she wasn't eatting or drinking and could not use her back legs, this all happened so fast.

She had a special bond with Alan and he really cried at the vet but he knew it was for the best, she will be cremated and we will get her ashes in a casket the same as her brother.

I hope you are all keeping well and congrat's again to Jan and Jacky.

Mikki so sorry for your loss my daughter had 2 cats and one of them had to have his tail cut off and we were all so upset, dread when anything happens to them (((((Hugs for you and alan))))) take care

Afternoon everyone. I did some tidying up this morning so I can now see my lounge floor again. I had to pop into work for a planning meeting at lunch time now I'm just having a cuppa before I go to pick the kids up from school.

Oh Mikki, so sorry to hear about the loss of your cat . It is so hard when you have to make the decision after you have had them so long even when you know it's for the best. y heart goes out to you.

We did our walk this morning 5 miles seems to be getting shorter, my boots dont cut in now and I can talk as I walk Must be doing me some good A lot warmer today so didn't need to wrap up. Thinking of a trip to the Crafty Cow now, so that when Martin is working tomorrow I can craft all day. It is the U3A craft group tomorrow afternoon too I don't watch CBB or Haunted so can't comment on either. Hope you are all enjoying your day

Mikki, so sorry to hear about the loss of Jemmy...I had to have my Dennis put down (12 yrs old) after he developed Kidney Failure so I know exactly how you feel hun xx

Just popped on briefly to carch up with posts. Feel lousy. Have spent most of day asleep on settee wrapped in duvet!

No chance as his cellulitis has come back but in the other leg so is having real difficulty walking. Especially as the first leg was still not completely better. Fortunately I seem to be on mend , headache much better than it was and I managed some toast for breakfast, so am taking him to GP again this afternoon. He's feeling very guilty about it though!

Glad you are feeling a bit better, shame you have to go out in this awful weather though, Fleet is usually worse for fog than we are in Frimley so I presume you have fog there Hope you both are fit and well soon

It was actually sunny when we went! Dr now thinks it isn't cellulitis but gout. Personally I'm not so sure. So he's on strong antiibiotics again and two lots of diuretics. Got to have a blood test Monday and see dr again on Wednesday to find out whether it is gout and check that the drugs aren'y having an effect on his kidneys!!

Sue i have been having attacks of gout, and its very painfull your foot swells and it looks like your skin is stretched over your foot, and it gets red and hot, and you cant stand even the duvet cover touching your big toe, you cant walk and its very very painfull if he has gout he has my smpythy (sp) and that is quick for results i had to wait a week for my blood test.

I'm still not convinced it's gout. Looks like the photos of cellulitis on web. Last time he got it was Aug and leg was still not back down to normal sizeand is now swollen again and the other leg as well. Very red with a distinct "tidemark" at knee level, very painful round ankle and foot and leg swollen. Also very hot to touch.

Oh poor Roy, it does sound really painful. Hope he gets it sorted out soon and Cally hope you get your new meds and they help
