Just had a bit of embrassing moment with the postman He came to deliver some crafting goodies and whilst we was chatting Jakey pipes up with "Do you want a chocolate willie?" Jakey then vanishes leaving me to explain that they were a gift from my brother in law for my Birthday Kids not you don't love em sometimes, I wonder if I can ask Royal Mail for a new postie

It's another lovely sunny day but off to work for me now

I daresay the postie has heard and seen worse Di, and all this after we were saying the other day what a credit he was to you

Kids dont you just love em... when they are in bed and asleep

Di... wonder who had the most embarrassed look on their face !!!

Not as bright today, but I am hopeful!!!
No children for me today, but have to go up the village as we have run out of shampoo and loo roll hubby did the shopping on Friday and doesnt think of stuff like that have had to go into my reserves - Amy uses shampoo like water (!)
Other than that I think I have an easy day.

Good morning Jan ,Janet, Di, Karen, a bit overcast here today im off to my parents for that Tuesday chill but not chilling today has we are off out to lunch my treat to my mum for mothers day, i told dad he has to buy his own Had a laugh this morning has the car would not start again hubby was rocking it to and fro in the garage so i went out in slipers and pj's and helped to push it out thankfully it then started . He has booked it in for friday to get a new starter motor another expence before our hols.

Morning all and Happy St Patrick's Day to all, it was nice and sunny here yesterday and thought i would do a little bit of gardening to tidy up and 3hrs later was still there and now this morning am has stiff has a board, and scratches all over my hands and arms.

Didnt get round to doing any cards yesterday was to bushed when i came in from the garden,

Bet that was funny with the chocolate willy, bet the postman has seen worse than that.


Right off to do mother in laws card for sunday and get in the post.

Good morning everyone. Happy St Patricks Day too.

Took Kayleigh for her hospital appointment today and she has finally been discharged (after 8 years) from this one so now she only has to go to one hospital.

I've sorted the ironing into piles ready to iron but before I do any I'm going to get the kids to see if anything has become too small for them or if there is anything they no longer like, that way I wont have to iron as much. (I know, I'm lazy but last year I ironed all their T-shirts and summer wear only to be given half of it back because they had outgrown it or they nolonger liked and wouldn't wear it any more)

Hope you are having a fab St Paddy's Day so far!

I have been out walking with my hubby (his day off) and I dragged him up B & Q to buy gloss paint, because he has decided to take Monday off next week so what better thing for a maintenance man to do on a couple of days off than.................PAINTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of the window frames (gonna be white) inside and out and the front door of course (gonna be black) and a strip of lead flashing just under upstairs windows is peeling and looking horrendous so that will get done too! We are going to get the outside work done first... if the weather is good anyway!!

Busmans holiday poor Ady

Good aftrnoon ladies. Another lovely day here too. Spent the mornng in the hairdressers. Michael came round first thing to collect his bike (he has to keep it in my gargae as nowhere to store it at his flat) and said he wanted money from everyone for his birthday as his computer has died. I'd sort of forgotten it was nearly his birthday - I would have remembered - honest- so now need to think what I can do for his card. Thought I'd done all the ones I needed to for a while.

Top of the morning to you, and a Happy St Patrick's Day too he he Ok, ok I know it should have been afternoon but it doesn't sound right, you have to read it in your best Irish accent he he

I'm so far behind with my cards for this month its not funny he he, well perhaps it is after all You'll be fine Sue, bet it will end up being your best one yet as you don't have time to oh and ah and procrastinate he he Well that's how I start a card off and thought everyone else did too he he

I've still got a couple of weeks. He told me last year he wanted a bought funny one but he can have papernation this year - bloke with beer and football on telly! Suits him down to the ground!
