Saturday and the weekend

Morning all, Saturday, another weekend here, they do seem to be rolling around very fast these days, I always start the week with many plans and the its Friday again. Good morning Janet and all who follow bit cloudy here and feels a bit nippy so far but hopefully it will clear up a bit later, well that's the forecast Meeting Janet today in Folkestone so other halfs can see the steam train, do they ever grow up? Just hope the cafe is open Have almost finished my Jacob's Ladder just got to pretty it up a bit and finish the box

What a shock in Big Brother, thought Verne was hot favourite but Ulrika ended up winning, everyone is saying it was a fix but I think it is the first time the person I wanted to win actually won, she has been slated in the press and all it proved really was that she is a 'normal' Mum of 4 children, I think BB wouldn't be stupid enough to try and rig the vote as there has been so much bad press surrounding the programme over the past few years it would be suicide for them to try it, I don't care what anyone says I am very happy she won

I totally agree jan, I wanted Ulrika to win though I never got to watch the second part of the final last night grrrrrr!! My Bro in Law and his girlfriend turned up and they wanted a go on the WII.... but I am still really happy that Ulrika won, also glad that Terry came second to Coolio's third! He so wanted to win!

Anyone know where I can get a swimming cozzie in the middle of winter??? Need a new one for my hydrotherapy! My figure has changed somewhat (for the better) in the last two years and when I went to Butlins in the summer with Shell and her family I got a bit of unwanted attention from a male lifeguard and I think my revealingly slack cozzie may have been the reason

Woke up to a very hard frost here this morning but the sun is beginning to peep through Martin is busy getting the last of his things together, must get his golf towel out of the dryer, he gave it to me at 8 this morning for washing The swimming costumes are already being put out Lou. I think it was in Tescos I saw them - it made me feel really cold. Jan & Janet - hope you have a lovely day together and Andrea have nice time with your parents. I know the weeks are going quickly but I do wish it was spring

Jake had a friend to sleepover last night, they finally went to sleep at 2 and then woke up at 7
Going to take them out to a kids play area in a mo which should wear them out a bit

Good afternoon ladies.

Went to Sandown yesterday but thought it was very disappointing. And I was absolutely frozen getting there and getting home again. Went on the train and the one from Woking had no heating and Esher station was freezing waiting for tho homeward train. Bought a couple of bits of decoupage and some sticker holders and a parchment craft book. Did find someone Iknew though on the machine knitting stand so had a reminisce. Might start going back to local club.Would like to get the machines out of loft but don't know where to put them as I don't really want them in the lounge.

Roy's leg is definitely improving and he's more mobile today. Hopefully improvement will continue.

Glad Roy's leg is on the mend Sue What a shame you were disappointed at Sandown, must say the last time I went I was a bit disappointed because I thought there would be more there - used to the Make It show now but I still spent a lot Forgot to mention this morning, when I got up the post was already here Can't remember the last time that happened - before 7.30. Got Jan's ATCs, and my new Joanna Sheen cd. Have seen Martin off on his travels so now I can have a good browse through it

Popped over to Sandown for a couple of hours. Not very inspiring but I got the items I went for - some 12x12 storage boxes, beading supplies and another knitting dolly with yarn and beads (I nearly worked on that stand www.ingrid-de-vane.co.uk but doing some other exhibitions for/with instead)

2 hours was long enough and I've got the rest of the day free now for crafting as Clive has just gone to football. Must make a start on my swaps for February and hope the subjects don't change!

Afternoon ladies, just got back from meeting Janet and Janet is as lovely in the flesh as she is on here more so in fact , we sat in the cafe (which I can still smell on me ) and had a really good natter, while the 'boys' stayed in the cold watching the choo choo

hi there everyone have been up to wigan but had to come back tonight has i am doing a bric a brac tomorrow, so a bit of a rush, my hubby would have been with the boys looking at the choo choos, as well,

Lou matalan have there swim wear in as well i noticed to day.

Well must get on am still trying to finish some of the fans to take with me tomorrow.

Hi yer all, it was lovely meeting Jan in Folkestone, she is a really lovely lady and made me feel very much at ease with her and Mike, and he is an extremely nice man, I always get nevous meeting new people, but I neednt have worried as Jan is a smashing lady and so easy to talk to. Both Dick and I look forward to seeing them again very soon, it made a change for Dick to have someone to share his `trains` with Janet xx I could mess that smell for the rest of the day too Jan xxx
