Tuesday morning

A very good morning to you all, how are you all today, couldnt sleep The weather here is windy and it is raining just a little and after yesterday thats a relief Nothing much on today but a card or two then a bit of catch up on some tv prog. I'm sorry you couldn't sleep, I have the same problem most night, I usually end up watching create and craft

I hope those of you who are feeling under the weather are feeling a lot better today.
Mum just phoned to say they have no electricity even the phone isn't working so she used her mobile to ask me to phone the electricity board for her, I have been waiting to get through for the past 15 mins, they are playing the most horrendous(sp?) music.

Alan is on a cuputer course this week so he should be home earlier than usual so that will be nice.

I made a start on the boxes yesterday for the cards and notelets, I got some really nice A3 pearl card at the weekend and it is just right for the boxes.

I'm still on hold 25 mins now and I'm getting really p**d off now grrr.

Hope you got through to the electric Mikki. It is so annoying when you are put on hold. If there is a problem in an area they should put a message on the phone saying so then at least you know something is happening and there would be no need to get through
It rained here all day yesterday without it stopping and when I went to bed it was really coming down. It's still raining this morning but not quite so hard We didnt get to badminton yesterday, after the dentist I had a headache and then Martin developed a migraine so he went to bed. We are both ok now though. He has an appointment today at the opticians (had new glasses a few weeks ago and can't see as well as he could before ) He should have gone last week but they cancelled due to the snow. Maybe that's the cause of his migraine.

Must be the day for not sleeping, I was awake at about 3am this morning in pain and struggling to get comfy... gave up in the end... got up about 5am so I could have brekkie and painkillers! Hope you both manage to rest during the day if you get too tired x Hugs for you both x

Nasty weather here but I didn't have to take my littly in today as a friend offered. My eldest is off school with a stomach bug

Good morning ladies or is it i could swear &$%)~# while at school i had a parecel delivered and they have taken to a post office that may well be the outer hebradees (sp)so i have asked lovely dad if he would run me through if it get dropped of there before i get home tonight has it says allow one day .I dont know why he has left it there they normally redeilver the next day. Anyway rant over very bitterly cold here and the snow has all gone, off to parents to chill. Hugs to the poorlies and wrap up warm

Morning all. I'm not stopping for long today as I'm still struggling with my breathing and I need to get some sleep as I seemed to be awake most of the night coughing and gasping for breath.

On the card I get left Andrea, it usually says you can phone up and arrange for it to be delivered again next day. Have they changed the cards or does it depend on the area

Snow has almost gone, the snowlady Amy and I made last week is losing weight daily!! But have just poked my nose out and its bitterly cold.
Got to go and collect Ben from nursery later, but his mum is collecting early today - so that will give me a chance to get a card done for hubbys mum as she is going into hospital today for an op.

Hi Jacky it still says that but he has ticked left at that po, i suppose i could ring up but knowing my luck it would happen again. Daddy says if its not in today he will take me for it tomorrow morning Karen ive already had a lay....................in today

Hope everyone is feeling a little better today, just spoken to Jayne and she said she is feeling a little better but when she eats her stomach gets very bloated and uncomfortable, she has doctors again on Thursday so will have to wait until then to see what she says but Jayne thinks she will be off for another week, she misses everyone but said she just cant sit to get online and doesnt feel well enough to Did tell her you are all asing after her

Thanks for the update on Jayne Jan Went into Farnborough for Martin to have his eye test and I went to a craft shop this morning Saw the stamp that Sue used for her card swap card. Picked it up but managed to put it back again with great difficulty but I was tempted then by the lady serving as she was showing another lady a card she had done which was beautiful parchment. She did it using the Christine Coleman stamp from Joanna Sheen I had to have it I was saving up for the Make It show but the lady twisted my arm up my back and wouldn't let me out of the door until I had bought it Now I am just wondering if I have any parchment left as I know I used a fair bit for Christmas cards

Sorry didnt think of that, they usually take it back to the sorting office. Glad to have managed to get a lift.

Actually got around to using my breadmaker today, the house smells great (far better than wet dog ) its not the nicest looking loaf but tastes ok, think I added the ingredients wrong though I think, hnce why it didnt rise quite like it should have but at least it wasnt a house brick like the last bread I made many years ago
