Bit dull here today hopefully the sun will make an appearance as Jakes Dad is taking him to the beach. Did suggest the cinema as they give rain today but he knows best
Just chilling out with a cuppa and listening to my new cd that was delivered yesterday. Gary Go anyone heard of him? I hadn't but he was on tour with Take That, and sounds a bit mellow sort of like Coldplay.

Well less off my waffling....hope all the poorlies feel a bit better today and everyone has a lovely day whatever their plans

Good Jan , Di and all who follow, just started raining here nothing planned for today except sort my wardrobes out with clothes i dont where and theres loads Should be going to my parents but Dad rang yesterday to tell us to not come over has he was not very well since Sunday and did not want to pass it on if it was contagious (sp) rang him before i went to bed last night and he was a bit better but was upo and dow with it. So might pop over Thursday. Jan enjoy your day off , Jakey have fun at the beach and Karen hope Keiths op goes ok. Hugs to the poorlies and have fun if you are off out anywhere.

Keith still waiting to hear about his op... the surgeon never got round to see him yesterday as he was operating all day. Looks now as if it could be tomorrow. Its horrible all this waiting and not knowing what is happening. We are hanging in there, his sister and Dad went to see him yesterday. His mum has got a 'bad leg', but did manage to go on a day trip, so she was unable to go and visit Keith
Mum is having a nice time in Falmouth... she met up with my Auntie and Cousin yesterday. Weather isnt too good for her.. raining, but sounds as if she is enjoying herself.
Well ... hope to come back later and let you know what is happening.

Got the phone call from the hospital this morning and have an appointment booked for Friday with Physio chappie, so hopefully things should start getting easier once they have worked out whats wrong x

Good morning my lovlies ......Francis had to join you with the ironing had a stack , plus a load of table cloths from the wedding on saturday ....all done now,Andrea I sort clothes out fairly often , I think local charity shops do well out of me !!! Rupe got back from Somerset pop festival ok , so thats him cracked motorway driving !!! I was'nt feeling happy 'till I knew he was ok and back safe and sound .I know I 've said it before BUT I do worry more about him now he's driving than I have done for a long time !Dulcie still at Annies comming back tonight .Micky pottering in the garden . Lovely photos Lou.

We seem to have an absence of insects, particularly butterflies and bees.
I've had to compost my hanging tomatoes as I only got 1 green tomato and hundreds of flowers which just dropped off.

Was picking bowlfuls every day last time I grew them. The runner and dwarf beens have beed a disaster too-not one insight yet!

That's weird Jane, because I have seen more butterflies this year than I can ever remember... maybe they are all on their holidays by the sea!

And my dad's runner beans are doing fab too x

Didnt get wet Sue, it just started to rain as we got back to the cars/pub had a lovely walk but very warm and sticky. I am so tired too, my eyes just want to close and that's just not like me. Came up here to do a card and dont feel as if I have any energy. Have stamped the image now just got to get round to colouring it in Perhaps there is something in the air around here

Talking of 'staying in bed' I woke up with a headache at 4.30am and took a paracetamol - went back to sleep quickly but didn't wake till ten to nine then read till nearly half past!

Washed the sheets and pillowcases and just about got them dry before the rain came. They're finishing off in the dryer. Finished making my lavender bags for this year - about 40 in all as I pass some on tofriends. Tghe drawers and wardrobes smell lovely and I think all this lavender oil iswhat's making me so relaxed andsleepy - that's my excuse anyway.

Enjoy whatever you are doing -back later, after I've done some more cards for up-coming classes

Sorry you're still 'under the weather' Jen - hope you (and all the other poorlies) are feeling better soon. We miss you (and your laughs, hehe) when you're not around.

Well ive sorted my clothes out and wait for it...................three big heavy duty garden sacks and two charity bags full i also sorted out the bedding i dont use .Why do we keep them. Then i got a phonecall off dad saying he was much better and are we all going over so we have been out to my parents glad he is feeling better. Got to put my bags out now for the charity person to come pick them up tomorrow, i will put them out in the morning has its still chucking down here. What a great summer we are having . Hope you are feeling better Lou, Jen , Jacky soon sorry to here you are not feeling well, off for a cuppa now.

We have had beautiful butterflies in the garden , lots o ones we've not seen before ...and a strange but beautiful beatle type bug with red and purple coloirs ,My 2 tomatoe plants have got lots of toms on , sweet pes a bit slow though lexie

I think there is something in the air I feel sluggish and got a bit of a hedache and a sore throat , can't seem to think straight maybe I am just tired lif has been hectic of late.Hopeeveyone feels better tomorrow .Iam taking Dulcie to see Harry Potter movie , hope its not too noisy ....what a moaner ... lexie

Well Keith has just phoned, news not good - the Surgeon isnt happy about doing the op. It seems there is a lot of nerve damage, which is causing spasms - he has asked for another scan... this time a 3d one to determine where the bones are lying. He has admitted it really is too late to be doing the op, nerves are getting trapped and not helping. So still no further forward. Once the scan is done, he will then decide if he can go ahead. Poor Keith sounds so fed up, he is still in pain and still doesnt know what is happening.

Poor bloke, I think I would be ready to throttle someone.....
