Morning Janet, and all who follow. Sorry to hear its dull back home.

Its cooling a little (26) as the sun starts going down at 7.15pm. Their house is near the bottom of a gully so it gets dark half an hour earlier than at the top of the hill! Sophie, our eldest granddaughter went down without a murmer - but had to negociate and be quite firm with Emily who's just turned 3 and is a little madam at times (but so cute with it, its hard to be angry with her) Mum and dad are out tonight and we're baby-sitting again. Just off to see to the spag bol - fingers crossed we'll have an uneventful night!

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all

Well we did get to cornwall on saturday, and there was no way we would have got there on friday there was about 18inchs of snow on the side of the road when we went through on saturday, well the weather sunday wasnt to bad, but monday it rained and rained all day and night so we just stayed in the flat i did some knitting and listened to talking tapes and looked at the view it was great just chilled all day, then tuesday morning it drizzled then the sun came out and it was lovely sun and mild weather just what the doctor ordered, and on friday we were sat outside a cafe having teacakes and tea without coats you wouldnt believe it would you.

Hope everyone who wasnt to good before i went are feeling better, and no one elsie is not feeling ill.

Did go to some craft shops and bought some mags but didnt do any cards although i did take some with me, a week really isnt long enough.

Well what do you think of that little boy who has fathered a baby he only looks like a baby himself, and cant believe his girl friend is 15 and on the pill cant believe it I have a grandson who is 13 and there is no way i can imagine him with a child.

Well ok i have bored you enough with my rabble will have a look round the forum and see what you have been upto while i have been away, i did take my computer but couldnt get on was a bit fed up with that.

take care have a nice day.

Hi Janette at least you managed to get away and had a bit of a break Smile
I know I was 17 when I had my daughter and in someways was more mature then than I am now but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but to be 15 and a mother must be frightening, as for the boy he looks about 9 or 10 and when I saw him on tv seemed stunned by all the attention, let's hope they have a good set of families behind them to help them out, it's not going to be easy for either of them Neutral

Glad you enjoyed your chill out time in Cornwall Smile As far as that 13 yr old who is a dad, apart from the fact that by law it was statutory rape both for her and him, how on earth can any parent condone to the point of allowing them to stay over night together, children that young having sex Sad Personally I believe both children and the baby should be put in social care as the parents are wilfully negligent of passing moral and social values to either child. As one paper said he could be a grandfather at 28 !!!!! It is all too weird for me.

Hope you are all having a lovely restful day Smile

Di poor you, have a large JD after Jake goes to bed and relax Wink

Hi Mikki good to see you, as Jacky said just relax and get well for next weekend Smile Jayne was on here a couple of days ago,she is feeling better but still not right Sad Will pass on your well wishes when I speak to her next Smile

I didn't realise they had been staying at each other houses Jen, just saw a little bit on the news the other evening about it, if the parents knew then they should be made to pay for the childs upkeep at least and the social services should keep a very watchful eye on these children.

Just been out for a drive and ended up at Dungeness, what a surprise and there just happened to be a steam train there Rolling Eyes

In one newspaper it said when she is 16 she will go to the top of the list for housing and if he moves in with her she would be classed as his carer and get benefits too. Surely they should both be in care as Jen said and if they slept together she would be in trouble then- doesn't make sense this country. Mad
