Cool today!

The temperature has dropped for a couple of days to a very cool but comfortable 22-24 - bit like a Bristish summer day. Making the most of it before we head out into the bush next week and higher tempertures again. It varies so much here 24 - 27 - 34 - 35 - 28 for the next 5 days!

Hope you are all well and looking forward to Make-it at the weekend. I'm getting excited about the show here and have made lots of new crafting friends - looks like I'm going to be busy with more swaps when I return.

Been trying out lots of lovely fruit and veg recipes with all the goodies I bought the other day - aubergines, peppers, avocados, salad greens, grapes, spinach, cherries, necterines, pineapple and bananas. Roasted the peppers today to make an avocado, capsicum and chickpea salad with pinenuts to serve with giant BBQd prawns tonight. Very nice wth a chilled Chardonay

Made mini strawberry cup cakes with sprinkles with a bit of help from Emily. Not very beautiful but they taste good!

Sounds better than what we have here.

I was looking forward to the craft show today but not now, I have to do motorway driving in freezing fog, visibility is down to about 50yards I don't like driving anyway, disappointed as its got my day off to a bad start. Hope it clears soon

We have sun here and blue sky's and feels a bit warmer than of late, Jen hope you had a good day yesterday.

Went to see the doc last night and at last have got the magic tablets i hope to stop the gout, and a note for 4 weeks was a bit shocked when he gave me one for that long, then after a month have got to have a blood test to see if the acid level has come down in my body, so can only wait and see.

hope all of you that are going to the show have a nice time, all being well i am going to the nec in march.

Right am off for another cuppa.

Hope all the poorlies are feeling a bit better.

I have washing out on the line lovely, i am a real sad o who likes the washing blowing on the line.

Nothing better than having a line of washing blowing in the breeze, feels so much nicer when it's been outside

Have to agree with you both, having bed linen drying in the fresh air rather than the tumble dryer is so much nicer when you first get into them at night....ahhh
