Mydallion stackers wiithout a stamp ..
I was in the mood for doing one of those mydallion stamps, had the colours all worked out in my mind, just to find out that I had given my stamp away So after a quick search through my peel-offs I found 2 sheets of mydallion peel-offs, one diamond shaped and one circular. I had great fun paining in the pattern with a mixture of gold, copper, brass and pearl white paints. Cut around the peel-offs making sure not to damage the side then take the peel-off off, store on a piece of waxed paper - such as you find in your cereal packet ready for using again. A lovely effect on dark brown card.
Then being the scrouge that I am I sponged the "dirty" paint water over a clean sheet of dark brown card randomly. With each wash of the brush apply another layer until you have a lovely sheet of shimmery patterned background card for use in another card Zero waste as they really are too pretty to waste he he, they are the Pastelles like Anne sells in her shop, something like H2Os or Cosmic Shimmers.
Photos to follow once I have made them up into cards, or might be sooner if you are unlucky he he

This is what they looked like after removing the peel-offs and the part in the middle is the background sheet I made from the "dirty" water in-between each colour change. They've all just been laid out on an A4 sheet of card for the moment as I haven't quite worked out how I am going to use them on a card

Wow, they are lovely Jen, really like the dirty water paper
Re: Mydallion stackers wiithout a stamp ..
He he yes I liked that too Jacky I'll have to remember to not call it that when I make a card for someone with it on he he

This is the card I made with half of the "shimmer water paper"
and the round medallion card. Two layers of medallion are stacked, one small one on the back of the card and one medium one cut into 4 equal sizes for the corners.
