Re: April Challenge
I finally got one made, phew he he
The background paper was made by soaking a sheet of photocopy paper then scrunching it. Then I squirted some Cosmic Shimmer Midnight blue over it, with the odd splash of rich gold and using cling film dabbed the purple one slightly diluted with water, to create an edge. My original idea was to have a straight oblong mounted onto copper foil as a backing but it looked better torn and directly onto the black card, in my opinion

Re: April Challenge
Jen , that is really lovely , I think you were right about the black.Have you ever used the Tattered angels glimmer mists? They are wonderful.I've got loads of them , they are really worth having a play with,I suggest any one thinking of trying them buys 3 colours to get the best results. The colours are fantasic I love the copper , and obviosly all the pinks and wonderful purple shades!!!! You could say I am addicted to them I 've even brought some colours twice doh! what am I like .The 'Barn has got a really good selection of colours, my tip of theday is to try them..... lexie
PS The best affect comes from using Glossy card....

Re: April Challenge
Lovely card Frances, how annoying that it never turned up. Can't believe how much mail goes missing for Jane
Re: April Challenge
I'm still hoping it might turn up as 3 packages I sent the same day arrived at their destinations yesterday but the were only franked the day before so they had obviously been held up somewhere

Re: April Challenge
I'll keep my fingers crossed too. Its a lovely card and maybe it will still turn up, especially if those others have only just arrived! Thank you for sending it for my birthday - I appreciate the thought and effort.
