saturday... and places to go .....!!!!

Just a quickie ladies its the middle of the night and because I am waiting for the alarm to go off in a hour or so I can't sleep as if I am going to sleep through and miss my flight !!!!!
Just want to say I have enjoyed the last few weeks on the forum and boy oh boy what a lot of catching up I am going to have to do when I ger back.Hope all the kids stay well (!!!!!!!! ) they are nightmares ah , can't ever remember giving my mum so much hassle.... that could be a little white fib ....Speak soon hugs for all that need them speak soon love lexie x

Thanks for the hugs for Emily, she slept well but still wont put any weight on it We will see how she does over the weekend!

Going to have my haircut this morning..... ooooh this is a bit of gossip..... my hairdresser spent 5 months inside for stabbing someone It is true.... but it was self defence and I have known Micheal since I was 6! He is about as un-threatening as it gets so I know I am safe! He is 5ft 5 wears cuban heels and his hair is so bouffant with hairspray if he smacked his head on something his hair would break He disappeared for a while last year and was unable to cut my hair, so when he phoned and said he was back he told me where he'd been!

It rained here overnight and as usual I am a bit stiff ... not sure if it was to do with the rain or the fact that I took my tablets so late last night what with being over at A & E!!

Morning all, yet another sunny day here even though it has rained overnight - I love days like that as its a win : win situation, garden gets watered life goes on and we have sunshine hehe.

Hope Emily and Kayleigh are feeling a tad better today, though as the ones who have joint/muscular problems know its not a swift recovery process unfortunately

I think the rain overnight will have added to your stiffness this morning Lou, well it does affect Fibromyalgia in that way at least he he. Do you think the NHS would pay for us to have a holiday in a lovely warm, dry country once every few months? he he.

Hope everyone is feeling well and going to enjoy the weekend I'm hoping to make it to at least one spring fayre today, possibly two ... it depends on the bod he he. The physio exercises that I've been given are killers, my only consolation is that the able bodied people who have tried one of them out think that its a killer too he he.

Try this one at home he he Sit with your legs over the side of a chair so that you can tilt them backwards a bit from the knee. Place a pillow/cushion between your thighs and grip the cushion with your thighs, pushing the knees together at the same time. Raise one leg slowly to a full straight stretch and slowly control it back again. You should feel the quad and inner thigh muscles working Repeat and rinse a few times more then change and repeat with the other leg he he. Do let me know how you get on

Just came on briefly to see how you all are doing, looks like it has been a bad week for daughters! Hope Kayleigh and Emily recover quickly.

Had some rain here in the early hours but the sun is out now and I am off to a day long craft session with
a couple of mates, so should be a good day.

Dad is already driving after his knee wash out, so Mum only got one week of him not saying where we going
today Barb as he hates staying indoors all day.

Morning all, had some rain this morning but stopped about 8.00 and the sun is out now but still a few clouds in the sky. Glad we managed to mow Ians lawn last night as it was about a foot high. He could never get it dry enough to cut before he went on holiday as he had a big job on at work so was working late and it rained at the weekends

Hope Emily and Kayleigh recover from their injuries soon, it will take Emily a while before she can put weight on it Lou, I sat down and gently put a little bit of pressure on mine - little at a time but then again, I am not as brave as Emily Take care at the hairdressers, don't upset him Glad your dad has got over his knee op Pat.

Good afternoon ladies i dont know where today has gone we went food shopping early this morning, then went to Argos. Came back and went to parents i wanted to show off my new netbook . We then went to look for a new car. Then i got hubby to put me my line back up in the back garden has it had come away off the tree where it was tied. I have sent pm's out for the May birthdays has poppytree pointed out to me Robin's is to go quite a way. Hugs to those who need them
