Usual Wednesday things happening today for me. At work all day, Jakes has afterschool gym club, then football training whilst I have an exercise session at fat club and a weigh in.

just a quickie as can't type very well... may have been something to do with carrying a couple of shopping bags home from Tesco yesterday (and before you moan... I had my splints on )

Hands are killing but wanna make a couple of cards today so will take some painkillers, do my physio and by then they should be a bit better.

Have Occupational Health coming out this afternoon, so wish me luck!

Morning all hope everyone is ok bit cool here today have had to close my window in the office, am sitting here at work bored out of my brain have had the switchboard open since 9am and havent taken one call yet its doing my head in all this sitting about doing nothing when i could still be at home.

cant even get interested in a book still only another 5 hrs to go

Lou you naught girl you shouldnt be carrying bags, i cant carry them anymore even with my splint on have got to go for a medical in 2 weeks for my wrist at birmingham to see if they are going to stop my benefit or not.

Just about time to wish you a good morning, dull here, threatening rain although dry so far. I began my new job yesterday, after years of being at home, and it was scary! I was so nervous using the computer programme that I was shaking. Can anything be that important? I've promised myself to try to keep things in proportion now, after all, who knows whether I'll be here to shake tomorrow!

Hope everyone else has a good day - I've got reading group this afternoon and card club tonight. I hate it when they fall on same day. Also got to go to PO and get some stuff ready for Help the Aged collection tomorrow. It saves me having to get it to the shop as I've got quite a lot.

Hi ladies, its been another chaotic day for me again so sorry if I seem to be neglecting you all. I'm speed reading the messages so most probably am missing lots of important information, doh. As well as doing volunteer work for the police, and my physio exercises on a daily basis I found out last night that I have a table at my granddaughters' school fair on June 12th - they only confirmed it yesterday he he and am doing a pack of cards for a new shop opening up locally and Pete's old workplace has asked me to provide them with an album to place in reception of cards I make etc. I've had months of playing without orders and now all have come together so please excuse me for being brief. Swimming pool physio tomorrow and a meal out so guess tomorrow could be hectic too he he.

Lou don't go overdoing it hun and internet shop next time or get a shopping trolley so that you don't have to carry the bags. I use mine all the time, its great for taking on picnics to put the folding chairs, cool box, flasks etc all in one place and wheel it to the picnic place

Don't work too hard Jan and its not too late to learn to drive you know I did mine at 30 yrs old One of my learn something new every year to make sure the brain doesn't stagnate things he he

Walked down to Canterbury centre - what a lovely City - but took the bus back as it's all uphill - that's what bus passes are for Lovely caravan site and lots of bunnies running around all day. I could see 15 all in a group from the window of the van earlier. Managed to get a signal but lost it after I typed this once - hope it works this time

Lovely city yes Jacky but did you find it cold ? I always think it is freezing walking up the High St at Canterbury

Go for it, you'll love the freedom it brings, my hubbie said it was one of the best things that ever happened to him when I passed my test and could do my own thing!
