Sorry didnt get on here yesterday... I was absolutely shattered. After Meadowhall on Wednesday, walking around all day, then the children yesterday - I felt fit to flop.

Just read that Michael Jackson has died Wonder what circumstances... he hasnt looked well for awhile, but thought that was down to the surgery he has had.

Keith is off to the dentist this morning, he has warned him of his ribs, so will have to see if he can manage to sit in the dreaded chair!

I am having my hair highlighted today, so looking forward to that. Wont have to do much to it tomorrow for the wedding.

Morning all. It was sad to hear of Michael dying and also very sad to hear that Farah Fawcett died too yesterday. The lady had fought hard against cancer for the last 3 years. Unfortunately all we'll see now will be Michael Jackson "friends" coming out of the woodwork and a huge media hype. It reminds me of the time Princess Diana died, it just so happens to be the same day that Marie Curie died, but there was hardly a mention of Marie Curie regardless of how much good she had done nor how she had lived her life for others. I know my feelings on that subject are not in the majority but they're mine, and I do feel its a shame that those that crave publicity become iconic whilst those that do good deeds without wanting anything in return for themselves get overlooked. Sorry off my pedestal now he he.

Yes it is sad about Michael Jackson but what annoys me about the media is that apparently nothing else has happened in the world overnight - it was the only story on the news late last night and again this morning. I'll get off my soapbox now. We're off out this afternoon to buy some patio furniture when Roy gets in - probably why the weather has changed! Told him not to ring me while Moovision is on.

Well I have had 2 of those sicko text message jokes about MJ this morning..... I wasn't fussed by the bloke himself buit I did like his music and he was a huge talent. Even if a little warped! My sister is in shock, she has been a manic fan since her early teens and she sat up till 2am this morning watching the news eating chocolate and crying her heart out

Feeling a bit more with it today, sorry I didn't get on much yesterday, I just couldn't concentrate very well....

Know what I am doing with regards to the school now, so will just have to wait and see how that pans out. My dad offered to buy us a new guinea pig coz he didn't like the girls being upset but I said no.... can't go thru all that again! I miss him but I can't stand the upset!

ONly just remembered at half ten last night that I had a blood test coming up and got outta bed to check my appointment card... and it was at 10.10am this morning so have just been down for that! Thank god I checked! LOL As I said my head has been all over the place!

Sorry your Joshua is poorly Frances, it is very difficult too get temps down in weather like this..... hope he is much better soon x

I must be mental....., I am having a sleepover with 5 kids tonight, 1 x 13 yr old, 2 x 10yr olds, 2 x 7 yr olds!!! And my hubby is going out so I will be left to it!!!!!

Don't think you are necessarily in the minority. It get fed up with all the hyp too. He was a good musician and dancer but a 'troubled soul', a bit weird and definately a child in an adult? body. Farah died with dignity and never pretended to be something she wasn't - just an attractive, resonably talented (at times) actress. It never ceases to amaze me how some people become 'icons' and even more disturbing, role models. I'll get off my high horse too now I've let off steam.

Afternoon everyone just got back in from the doctors with Josh. He has white spots on his tonsils and his lympth glands in his neck are swollen. She has given me a prescription for penicillen but I'm not allowed to get it until Sunday (I have to see if he gets better on his own first) She also told me to dose him up with paracetamol and Ibuprofen which I have to go and buy as she is not allowed to prescribe it to children (NHS rules apparently)

hi all Lou glad you are feeling better i miss not having the children sleeping over, the only thing was with my daughters friend she didnt get on with her mom very well, she would come on monday night and still be here fri but we used to have some laughs has they were about 12 we still keep in touch with her.

Its gone very black outside and only hope the storms keep away till i get home with my hubby, dont mind rain its the other two things i dont like.

It sad about MJ but i was never a fan of his wonder what will happen to his 3 children do you think they will be able to live a normal life now, and about Farrah Fawcet.

Tried to log into moovision but it wouldnt let me at work so will have to wait till it comes on the forum.
