Morning.... its Friday and the last one in January!
Had an early morning phone call at 1.30 this morning... Mum thought something had happened to us. She was bright and up and dressed. Assured her that we were ok, as best as I could - but she does get mad with me, saying she would leave it up to me as and when I wanted to contact her! Went down this morning, and she couldnt remember a thing.
Washer is on and its a lovely bright sunny day... bit cold though.

You have to think that it is not your Mum talking when she gets mad at you, it is this terrible thing that is happening. Big hugs for you.

I went to the Breast Clinic with my friend yesturday , not good news Iam afraid as they are 99% certain the lump she has is cancerous ,she had a mammogram , scan and biopsy .We had to go to Brighton , I drove as theythought she'd need a biopsy and it can be sore .I knew it was'nt good news when they moved me toa fancy waiting room to wait for Carol , she is very positive, and won't get the results for 2 weeiks .She has flown out to Singapore and Thailand to night on holiday, spend time with hubby and meet up with her kids , my heart goes out to her . Iam feeling guilty as I'll be away when she comes back and starts her treatment , but I have said if she loes her hair I'll shave mine off to raise money for breast cancer, so beware !!
Dulcie went to her new school today to chat with the head and teacher, etc Chris and I are not holdingout that this is going to work, as already the teachers are finding her difficult .She was in a vile mood earlier and wanted to go back home , so I've taken her home already !

Thinking of your friend as well, I went through the same thing with Mum also. But your friend must remain positive, its what helps get you through the bad times.

Thanks Karen & Lexie, Sally is much better now she has got over the shock. Martin and I went this morning and cleared out all the hutch, put the rabbits in a cardboard box with newspaper and woodchips, and sealed it ready for the burial on Sunday when her friend is back. Her friends boyfriend is going to dig a grave in the garden and bury them then put a slab on top to make sure they are not dug up again So Sally hasn't got to worry about seeing them now but she did want to bury them herself. So glad that Lizzie is coming back from Jordan for a few days though. Forgot to say that she had a very substantial wage increase that day and that is why she was late home from work as the boss wanted to talk to her, then she had to catch up with her work, and it is substantial too. Think it's more than I earned in a year when I was working so she did have some good news that day, but as she says Money isn't everything (but it helps). Her date brought her chocolates and wine and sent out for a pizza then they stayed in watching The Big Bang Theory episodes.

Jacky , Sallys date sounds lovely , chocs and wine my sort of fella !!!! when you going to meet him then ah !
