TGI Friday

Thank goodness its friday means its the weekend yeahhhhhhhhh.
We all have some sort of bug here hubby not well at all neither is T.J they both have really sore throat and a cough, cameron has nearly lost his voice but no pain at the min, and me kian and Latisha have upset tummy really bad the only one that is ok at the min is Lee. We all are ment to be going to mil on sunday as she is doing lunch for eeryone and got gran parents coming to from haleing island and they dont know Kian is comingas they have only seen pictures of him. And HOPE we all get rid of these bugs or wont beable to go, as we cant let them or mil get it.

Good morning Juli, sorry to hear you are all suffering. I really thought last night that I was going down with something, my throat was sooo sore but seems to be ok again this morning. Hugs to you all.

We are off for our Christmas Dinner with the U3A walking group today. We are going to the local golf club and they really do a great meal there - we have been there quite a few times as a friend of Martin's is a member so usually organises a meal for a group of us once or twice a year. Looking forward to it. Martin is busy ironing so think I had better get on and do something too

Its lovely and sunny here today, melting the snow as well! I cleared most of mum's path this morning, managed to get a piece up which was 2" thick.
Had a better nights sleep, but think my cold is coming out more now.
Have been doing a bit of hoovering today in readiness for the deccies going up tomorrow. I was worn out by the time I finished, in fact I kept having to have a rest!
Dont forget its SCD tonight! X Factor final tomorrow... woo hoo!! And I watched the live episode of Corrie last night!

Out to choir practice tonight (performanace this Sunday so can't miss) but I shall miss the final of Australian Masterchef which i have been glued to for 3 months on Watch - repeat is at 6.30am tomorrow and we don't have any recording device! Also going to miss strictly!

Did a Make & Take this morning and stayed on for a free demo/playtime (using holographic vinyls with Cricut, transfer tape and alcohol inks)

Had a lovely Christmas Dinner, all the trimmings, followed by coffee and mince pies after - too full to do anything now. Thanks for the reminder about SCD, I had forgotten that. I was watching the soldiers clearing the road on the news, in Scotland and I remember everyone in the street used to do that years ago. It made me think that those soldiers who had fought in Afghanistan could have done with a bit of help from the people who lived there too, if the soldiers are allowed to do it then surely it would be ok for the residence to go out and give a hand. The people almost at the top of our hill were out last year with their spades clearing the road where the cars were getting stuck as prior to that they were helping push them up. I think that it was easier for them to clear it than push, then lots of other people joined in to help them. We cleared our pavement and drive the first day it snowed and it dried up the next day so didn't get the ice either.

Hello Gang , sorry have'nt been about last couple days , don't know where the time goes !
Went shopping today with Carol , our friend Kate and her hubby Tony are exspecting there 1st baby , due date today , so we got in the car and were half way to Crawley when Kate phoned to say she;d had contractions all night , but hospital had said not to go in until they were 5mins apart ... so we had Micky on stand by if need be ! as of 5.30 no change ... Carol is her birth partner , but soo far Tony is being far more capable than most other Kenyan men we know !
Brought a gorgous dress today from Monsoon as was delighted when I had to get a size 14 instead of a 16 ... whoop whoop as my Dulcie would say ! Going to catch up on eveyones news , hope Juli you all get better for the weekend ! hugs to all
