Really sunny here, and can't wait till later have my dad and step mu m coming later for the weekend (which might sound confusing as i say my dad lives with me, but he is my ex-step dad, but has brought me up and been there for me and when he had a triple bypass nearly 10 years ago he came to live with me and hubby, he and my mum split up about13 years ago. they still talk ang go out shopping and stuff toghter, just confusing i know) Anyway cant wait till dad and Jean get here later as tey havent seen Kian yet, which has really got to me, only been to see us once in 12 years we have to go to them. I know they dont drive and live in birmingham but just wish they would make more effert for the grandad kids (not for me have given up on that, and now great grandchild). Well dad phoned to say they were coming and can get the bus right to buckingham which is only a couple of miles from us, have been saying this for years!!!!! and now they are coming just phoned out the were going to go away as they are off for 2 weeks but thought they would come to us Don't get me wrong i am happy they are coming just alays second or third in there thoughts, ohh well better go take care love and hugs. We do have lots of lovely things planed to do, so might not be on over the week end, and had my pc looked at so can get on here now to whhooop whooop.xxx

Good morning everyone. It's more like winter here today so Karen can you send some of the blue skies and sun down the motorway a bit to us please
Kayleigh and I are going to sort some more of Joshuas room out today then hopefully we can start moving some of the girls toys etc into his room so that we can decorate their room ready for me to move in (my room is bigger so I am swapping with the girls to give them more space)

Hi Karen-have you tried one of these steam generator ones? I can't stand doing ironing but my hubby got me one that they had on sale and it just cuts RIGHT through it! Ok it takes a few minutes to warm up so it's not really worth it for a few items but as I usually leave it til it's a humungus pile staring at me from the basket and I can't ignore it any longer it's not really an issue!

Must admit... I havent tried one of the steam generator ones... my friend has one and she likes hers - but they are a family of 5 so she has a LOT of ironing.

Well got a new iron... gone for a Phillips this time... going to try it out later - I know how to live!!!
