Morning ladies - nice and bright here today. Waiting for insurance assessor to come and look at my kitchen and utility floor. Vinyl got damaged when we moved a fridge out and melted when I accidentally put a hot casserole dih on it as I took it out of the oven! Embarassed Been thinking I must do something about it then someone said why not claim on insurance. It had never even crossed my mind so rang on Wednesday and now waiting to see what they say.

Had a call from son in Scotland last night to say he's been posted to Cosford in September so they will be a bit nearer but means his wife won't be able to do the Access course she had been accepted for. Good job it's after I've gone up there in 2 weeks as I've already bought my ticket!

Bit cloudy here today but not to hot or cold, I am babysitting tonight, so hope we dont have any storms or there will be 3 of us and a dog in bed.

Where is everyone this morning, i bought some xmas card stuff into work yesterday and have made a start.

Theres a new craft shop opening by us tomorrow and if you registered you get a free goodie bag if you go tomorrow so hope my daughter brings me home early then i can go, my granddaughter likes making cards as well so might just treat her to something.

Well back later take care all and have anice day

Sorry missed Kayleigh off glad she is out of plaster and hope everything is ok when she has the xrays, my grandson has just been diganosied with a condition to do with his ankles, but the hospital discharged him when he was 3 and his doc now is not happy about it.

Has the front page been changed again, and how can you tell there is a spammer on the forum.

Hadn't noticed a change on the front page Exclamation The spammer was an advert someone had put on the forum for DVDs - you would know if you found one. Jan found one in the introduction part and I found one in the classified section and both have been deleted. Very Happy

Afternoon everyone. Kayleigh had a reasonably good nights sleep. She has gone off to school this morning in a fair bit of pain but she wouldn't stay home as it's the last day today. All the children brought a letter home yesterday saying that a boy in Michaelas year has swine flu so there weren't as many children in school today either.

I've got to start sorting out the kids old playroom next week so that I can move all my craft things in then I can have my kitchen back Smile

Have a good day whatever you are doing Smile

Hi ladies, just a quick one as I seem to have the flu symptoms back again and have spent up to now with a high temp and dozing on the sofa Sad Darned nuisance. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend away, going to balls etc and hope that Kayleigh's leg is a bit better now the cast is off. Sorry if I've missed anyone off but the brain hasn't joined me today.

Just been over to Farnborough as I wanted to match up some sewing silks. Why do they never give you quite enough in the kits? While I was in the craft shop bought the JUly goody bag. Don't usually like them but this one seems quite good value - 20 sheets of mirri board, 10 sheets pearlescent textured cardstock, Daisy and Dandelion Christmas A4 paper pad with diecut sentiment tags, some glitter ribbon, stickers, peel offs, slver elements sentiments, jewels, rubber stamp, silver pen, ink pad, glue dotsand some calendar tabs.

Sorry to hear you've got the flu Jen. Make sure you rest and dose yourself up.

I bought that one on Wednesday Sue, from the shop in Frimley Very Happy It does seem very good. Ann (Macula) and I both thought the robin stamp looked more like a penquin if you did it in black and white. They are having a Docraft demonstration Saturday, Ann may be working I forgot to ask her. Very Happy

I'm not working this one - Vicky is (and, of course, Beth), but I'll be around sometime in the afternoon. I'm working the next one (12 September - put it in your diaries now Very Happy ) as far as I know.

I stamped it on some scrap paper to see how good it was ( not very impressed with their stamps usually) and I thought it looked like a duck!! lol!
