FGI Friday again
Beautiful day here again the garden is coming along nicely and I am sure as soon as it is finished we will get the rain again. Really want to get out there now and start sorting the planting out but have to wait until he has done the brick edges and turfed. He is planning on turfing on Monday. The rear brake on the car is sticking so taking that to the garage this afternoon, Molly has to have her jabs too.
Enjoy yourself whatever you are doing today.

Morning Jacky and all who follow. It's a lovely day here so I might get some of the hedge cut today.
I have Michaela off school with a bad water infection. The Dr dip a dip test and every spot showed up so she has a large does of antibiotics to trya nd clear it up.
Jacky I hope your garden is finished soon so that you can get the planting done.

Re: FGI Friday again
Morning...
Having a good day today, which I am really pleased about - I got there as the Carer was coming away and she said Mum had just got up - Mum is bright and cheerful.
Got the Social Worker coming out to see me next week - found out yesterday that I cant get any more night sits. Was really disappointed, especially when the SW turned round and said that it was perhaps time to go into the Care home - this is coming from someone who has never met Mum, never even spoken to Mum. But after ringing around, it looks like I am very lucky to get 2 night sits - speaking to Notts City Council, they dont provide night sits at all.
They certainly know what to charge they range from £50 up to £120 depending on what kind of sit.
Got to go ... got a houseful of men - Amy's wardrobe being fitted and the heating men here finishing off what they should have done a couple of months ago.

Re: FGI Friday again
Afternoon ladies bit late today Was busy this morning catching up on some H*****k! Then I had calligraphy class and had to do some food shopping for the weekend.
Hope everyone has a good weekend - time in the garden for us I think as long as this gorgeous weather lasts. It was like this in 1984 - I know 'cos I'd just given birth!! and we were out in the garden as soon as I got out of hospital.

It was like this in 1972 - I was 8 months pregnant, sweltering and had to go out and buy a thin cotton maternity dress as all my stuff was winter weight and Karen was born on 5th May.

Karen, glad to hear you are having a good day today Sue, you have been busy I haven't done a lot today and Sally has invited us to her house for a barbecue 6 - 6.30 so I had better go get ready
It was much hotter in February 1977 when I had Ian, but then again I was in Woomera and the middle of their summer
