Good morning ladies looks like a lovely day here again Nothing planned for me but the girls are going to town and one is having a sleep over at here friends has its her birthday today , so it will be just me and Gregory till teatime.No doubt Greg will be on the ps3 and i will be on the Wii . Hi all The weather has taken a turn for the worse and from 25.5 C with sun to constant drizzle and 19 C Ah well , lets hope its better up North Wales for Jacky's holiday.

I'm having a chill day today after a lovely picnic yesterday. I bought this gorgeous wide olive green lace at the patchwork shop and they have agreed to help me find out where I went wrong with the king size throw I was doing. I shelved it about 3 years ago as I couldn't get the 2nd half to go straight. They said I can take it down and they will talk me through how to get it completed properly. Patchwork is one of the things that I can do while sitting watching TV or out making the most of the sun, rather than something that will take me away from card making

Beautiful sunny day here , just waved Dollie off with glee...she has been vile the last couple of days , just made her bed and found out why , her tablets chewed up and spat out, in a tissue under her pillow looks like a couple of days worth ...little minx .She has gone to Annies for a couple of days , back tommorrow evening ( Annie used to be her respite foster carer ) so peace , she really is giving me a hard time ,came back from scrappin yesturday lunch time , I had asked her to be up so we could go out, still in bed.I felt sorry for Mick because he had asked her but she goes out of her way to be difficult......moan over . I've got not6hing particlar planned got to do some h*******k and go to the bank, and I want to do a scrap page I was stuck on but I am starting again ......Hope your feeling a bit better Lou and hugs to all the poorlies .Enjoy whatever you are doing today . lexie

Good afternoon all. Had a busy weekend painting wood preservative on the shed and sother jobs round garden. Still got the summerhouse to do but decided to leave it today as the forecast was for rain. It's certainly clouded over but no rain as yet. Just had man out to check drains as there is water seeping up through patio by back door. He couldn't find any blockages though so will just have to keep an eye on it. Now I'll be worried about leaving washing machine running if I'm not in just in case the water backs up and floods utility room. I'm due to have new flooring in there as well so don't want any problems after it's been laid.

Lou , don't mention DLA to me .....why oh why do they make it sooooo difficult when its as plain as the nose on your face you need help ... I get higher rate for care on Dulcie ,abd transport they reduced a couple of years ago . EVEN THOUGH Nothing had changed infact if IAM HONEST got 100% worse , 2nd moan of the day !!! Good luck with them Hun don't back down , bless your heart I hope they realise they are causing further misery .Hows things apart from that? looks like is going to pour down in a while ...great ah.Went to see Harry Potter last night guess WHAT i UNDERSTOOD what was going on !!!!!! thats a first for me ....lexie

Bit upset today, we took Cookie back to the vets and sadly we lost him. Amy is beside herself, still blaming herself. I am blaming myself because I took him to the vets. The procedure that he was having was only about 10 minutes, but it was the anaesthetic that he had problems with.
He was one special rabbit and we will miss him dearly.

Keith has good days and bad days, we are waiting for Sept 2nd when he goes back to hospital - still hoping something can be done.

So sorry to hear about Cookie, give Amy a big hug from me.

So sorry to hear about Cookie Karen, that is such a sad thing to happen but hope you both stop blaming yourselves as rabbits are delicate things when they have to operate on them and it's no-ones fault
