Tall Spring Cards
Does anyone by any chance know how to make one of these cards or know of a website where I can obtain instructions? I love the ''normal'' spring cards and am ready to try something different. thanks in anticipation.

Re: Tall Spring Cards
Hi, I think these were demo'd on Create & Craft. Woodles brought in a sample to show me but she's away for a week now so I won't be able to help til she gets back

Nancy demonstrated them on one of the 4-day deals last week. I think it was called a tall diamond I didn't make a note of the measurements sorry other than the first one is one third of the height of the card, but that's not much use on its own he he.

My first post, I am sooo excited, I just hope that what I say makes sense. Nancy used one of the giant A3 cards, she opened it flat on the table with the fold going from left to right and
1. measured 15cm from top to bottom then scored it.
2. along the fold line measure another 5cm (20cm from the end) mark carefully
3. measure and mark 11cm (26cm in total) along the bottom and then do the same along the top
4. score the diagonal line from bottom to the mark in the middle, and then do the same from the top to the middle.
This should give you a K scored in your card. Use a bone folder to make your score lines sharp and true.
5. hold the card up so that the centre fold is vertical then bend it along the score lines to create a diamond on top.
6. decorate as desired!
Hope that helps
