2 more weeks at work then a week off, can't wait cos Jakey and me are going to Euro Disney for a couple of days. He's looking forward to it so much as we've never been before. On the down side people have said that food and drink is very expensive, never ming it at least it will help the diet

Di, Jakey will love Euro Disney. We went there when Sally got out of hospital when she was 13 and she loved it too. We didnt bother waiting for the parades, which I would have enjoyed but Martin and Sally werent interested, they liked the rides

Well bus hasnt turned up must have taken pity on me, so not going into work will go in tomorrow morning instead

My kids always wanted to go to Disney and somehow Chris and I never got round to it , hope they get to go one day , I was 27 the first time I Went , your never too old for Disney ...... Looking back the kids could'n of wanted to go that much as they would of nagged and they did;nt Feeling a bit worn out today had a bit of a tough weekend with madam ending up with her dad being in a foul mood and having a go at me and , I'd taken her home on my own he would'nt of said anything if Micky had been with me .....flippin exs hey some how still grate on your nerves ah!
spent t6he weekend spending money on boring things 2 tyres for Rupes car , and something else equally as boring infact so boring can't remember !!!!! losing it !!!!! speak later when I,ve switched my brain on .........

Jan get yourself well before you go back to work , this has been going on for ages , hope you feel better soon ,OH NO JUST REMEMBERED Imissed my flu jab on saturday , blow that means grovelling to the snotty receptionist acouple of them are really frighening ...... flip Iam nearly 50and scared of a receptionist ...... taking tthe bull by the horns and ringing now , speak later ......

Morning all.......

Not a great one this morning, woke up and the house was soooo cold...... my back and lag are spasming something chronic..... can't feel my foot at all!!!! Walking like a muppet! No offence Di!!!

Just had a run in at the school as well.... my eldest Georgia always (for the last year) has done 2 hours dance on a Friday after school.... well she came home in tears as she was told when leaving on Friday she can only stay for the first session from now on..... I phoned her dance teacher and she told me Georgia only watched for the second hour... what a load of tosh!!! Georgia has been doing the 2 hours ever since she started..... so this morning I tried to get to talk to her dance teacher... turns out she isn't in much this week... how convenient... and she will have to ring me..... bet she don't!!! Soon as I walked in the office the Headmistress came into the room! I think I make her nervous..... can't think why!! LOL So am now waiting for the call to see if I can sort it out x

Jan.... you poor love, just as well the bus didn't turn up, if you are that bad you shouldn't even have considered going in hun anyway x Keep warm xxx

Lexie.... hope the receptionist understands that you are just a regular numpty like the rest of us and forgetting things is part of the psyche!!!

Di... you must be sooo excited...... I have always wanted to get the girls to Eurodisney but we have never been able to afford it!

DR RECEPTIONIST WAS A COW....no offence to all you moos out there .....just ventured out to bin ( fully clothed ) its flippin freezing , looks beautiful all sunny and golden but its NOT so if you have'nt been ou wrap up warm .Some times Lou these teachers are a right pain I 've had a few run in in my time I can tell you , even one told one head master the day Dulcie was leaving (after not helping with Dulcies statement of edcational special needs ) he should be put on top of a bombfire with his school and take the senco teacher with him his face was a picture !!!!!

Morning!

Been up to school with the children and although its lovely and sunny .... its very chilly!
No plans for me today, apart from... wait for it.... putting some washing out!!!
Lexie... what is it about Dr. Receptionists?? ours is exactly the same. My friend works at our Surgery and I try to go in when I know she is on Reception - she is very friendly and helpful! The main receptionist who isnt so helpful, knows who I am - but always asks my name when I go in for appt or ask for an appt!!!
Ooohhh. you will have lots of fun at Disney Di.... we took Amy when she was 3... she loved it. We had a meal at the Disney hotel and she was so excited to see all the characters. Yes, eating there is expensive, but you will have lots of fun - I loved 'Its a Small World' ride - went on that quite a few times.
Well... I better get on - washing to put out!!

Jan, I hope you feel better soon, you seem to be a bit run down of late.

Lou - fighting at school again, you are going to have to grow out of it sometime you know!!!!

Lexie - The craft Barn had better batten down the hatches on Wednesday they have a bunch of 9 bods from
the imag-e-nation forum turning up for a days crafting. One of the scottish members is down in the area (Lou you may remember Anne Marie) and they decided to team up meeting her with a craft day. One of the Caroles is the tutor I
believe.

Andy is back off to the hospital today for a bladder check, we are hoping they will take him off the bladder release
tablet as we think that is what is making him get up during the night. I so need an undisturbed sleep now like you
wouldn't believe. He manages on less than me and he is looking tired so I won't even try to describe the bags under
my eyes!!

Just made a huge fool of myself in SAINSBURYS : , on saturday I filled my car up with petrol and when I went to pay I completly messed up my pin number ( don't know why same one I've had for years and years , use it ALL he time ....) And card got locked as 3 times I messed up ....went to Sainssburys today went to pay with card , ' Sorry Madam this card has been declined , big queue behind me , felt like running away , it came to me in a flash , my account had'nt been cloned and all( ha ha ) my money taken but I needed to unlock 6he card , the guy was great le me rush over to he machine and sort it ...... the funniest hing though on saturday when I locked my debit card and had to pay for petrol wih CREDIT CARD Iwaspanicing as I have sme pin for all cards .....phew did it 1st time , think I am a bit stressed at moment ! Got soo much going on in my mind wih Dulcie , thats another story..... need a cuppa then I am going to finish atc's ...speak later

Wll good afternoon ladies Well not that you can all hear it but my washing machine is on and it's ssssssssooooooooo fob to be able to do it now and with my new machine, well as most of you know the peeps who are working on my kitchen have broken my machine and had to replace it (and it was only just 2 years old, well not quite). So glad it came saturday 5 weeks have been without one that's along time but sorted now, still got loads of tweaking to do it the kitchen and have phoned them up still waiting for a call back but am sssssssoooooooo pleased about my washing machine will not let them upset my day.

Lexie gosh the dreaded doctors receptionist they amke me ssssoooooo mad, one time when my oldest son was little he was really really ill and the doctor had told me over the weekend if there was no change in him to ring them first thing the next day which i did. The receptionist then send well does he need to see a doc i replyed no he needs a VET thats why i am ringing you.lol She has since left thank god.
As for schools and head teachers i not even going ther i can feel my blood boiling

oh can't we be a righ bunch of Mrs Angreys .....soooo glad is not jus me !!!

We are so lucky, our receptionists at the doctors are wonderful When you phone them they ask do you need an appointment quickly or it is routine and if you say quickly I have never had to wait, always gets in that day Don't know how they do it but I think as they are so obliging people are quite happy to say I would like to see one quickly but not necessarily today so there are spaces - don't know what their secret is Can honestly say the same about Ian & Sally's teachers and Head teachers too, but it was a different matter when the Head retired and we had a new one Glad the kids had left there but I used to still help. The man teacher I used to help had a nervous breakdown because of her and took her to court and won She left shortly after she had him fired, was only there about a year but the mess she made in that year

Oh I forgot to say..... had no telephone call from this dance
lady so I called the school this afternoon and spoke to her
directly..... she said.... Oh I was just gonna call ya! Yeah I bet!

Anyway, it is all sorted now, turns out the dance club had a
discussion whilst Georgia was ill and decided that as the Christmas
show in Worthing was coming up (they do a panto) they were gonna
get the kids who would be doing that to come for just the first hour
so they were not too confused trying to learn too many dances!
That is why she only wants Georgia to go for the first hour session!!!
See it's easy when I get in there and thrash about.... it was so
simple once explained, why didn't they just sit her down and tell her
once they realised she missed that earlier talk.......GGGRRRRRR

Anyway, all sorted, Georgia is happy again!!!! Result!
