Good morning ladies
Had a lovely weekend away at Mikes parents and was good that all 3 boys made it too, Mikes mum was really happy to have them all back together as its been almost 2 years since they were
Car played up again on the way back just as we got to the Maidstone turning on the M2 we lost lights, everytime Mike indicated or put on headlights the car dragged so something not right with the electrics but we managed to get back before it got too dark on sidelights, ok not exactly safe but we made it and just as we pulled up outside home a police car went by so we were lucky in that respect
Hope everyone had a good weekend and didnt get too wet

Jakes has a victorian day today at our town hall so he's dressing up, my dad's letting him borrow his flat cap as we've created an outfit like a chimney sweep boy Anybody want their chimney sweeping just let me know, he's very reasonable

Glad you all had a good weekend. Its freezing cold with thick fog here so I'll be spending the morning in the craft room for a change. Feeling a bit more inspired for once so off to make some Christmas cards.

Our dark bedroom furniture is covered with a thick layer of 'dust' (mainly from the white carpet so must run a duster over that first - 'bout time I did some dreaded h*******k - I did actually manage to give the bathroom a really good spruce up last week - the tiles and bath are still sparkling!

Morning!

Just got back from dropping the children off at school and although it is sunny - it is so cold. The village is absolutely heaving with cars and lorries... someone said that the A1 is closed, so there must be an accident somewhere.
Keith has gone back to bed, he didnt sleep too well last night. I know why, he forgot to take his tablets. I put them out for him to take with a bottle of water and still he forgets!
Anyway, as he has gone back to bed has put paid to any hoovering to be done. Would have done some crafting, but as Keith is still in the spare bedroom which also doubles up as my craft room - I cant get in there!! so looks like the ironing board will have to come out!

Morning everyone. I was going to go to tots this morning but the 3 childminders that usually come weren't going to be able to get there so we decided that it wasn't much point opening for 1 child

All the neighbours had fireworks over the weekend so the kids sat at the windows and watched them in the comfort of the house.

Kayleigh has gone back to school today but she still has a barking cough. She had 2 big nose bleeds over the weekend so I have warned the teacher and they have got plenty of tissues ready just in case.

Sorry I didn't get on yesterday but had loads to do x

Thanks for the Birthday wishes for Emily, she had a great party and we were all suitably shattered by the time everyone went home!

Had a battle over the doctors this morning for my painkillers, they don't seem to realise some peeps need them on a regular basis..... she said 'well we only dispensed them on the 28th.....' so I says 'yes but you only give me a week long supply so they are used up' so she says 'why have you used more than you are prescribed?' I says 'No I haven't.... in fact I now haven't had ANY for 2 days as I have run out because of idiots like you not doing their job properly and are you going to get my tablets sorted or are you picking my kids up from school later when I cannot walk?????' Oh I was so angry!!!! Needless to say she went and spoke to the head honcho and now they have increased the amount dispensed each time to 200 (not 56 as before)...so I have a months supply at once! Hoo flippin ray!!!!!

Sorry about my litle rant!!!

Anyways....

Good morning all Foggy when I got up this morning but clearing now. I have a card to make today for my friend again I really want to get on with my dolls house now but have to make the card first. Sat last night cutting out all the tiles for the roof but have to paint it first before I can put them on I didnt sleep to well when I first got to bed, had terrible pains which seemed to be in my chest going through to my back, think it was trapped wind but very painful. I think Martin was a bit worried. I got him to get my hot water bottle and that seemed to ease the pain and I eventually went off, then slept very well

Glad you enjoyed your weekend away Jan, sorry to hear about the car. My nephews wife put on facebook late last night that she had crashed her car. Couldnt believe she had put it on facebook first and then her son asked her if she and his brother were ok. Fancy not letting him know first, he is 18. She had the younger one in the car with her but I don't know what happened yet

morning all.the weather is not too bad today,bright and sunny ,but cold.just have to tell you all that my eldest granddaughter,Melissa,has come first in her gym competition.she is only 16 and already coaches younger gymnasts at her gym.

Afternoon everyone , phew where does the time go , I can't believe the time , been busy this weekend did'nt work on saturday running around with Dulcie and had nails done , Then when I went to drop Dulcie off , the A22 was closed police and fire engines flying about , had to goe down all windey roads .But the party was fantastic and there were s ome beautiful masks , had a lovely time .Then did a scrap book class on sunday am .Lou thanks for beautiful card.

Yaya..... spent the morning with my mum, dad and sis trawling the net for a holiday cottage for next year!!!

Gorgeous cottage Lou, we really enjoyed that area when we went there earlier this year. Just up the road from there is Llangollen where we went on the horse drawn canal boat
