Monday Morning

Good morning everyone.

Jakes had a good night went to bed at 8 and haven't heard a peep out of him. Checked him several times and he all snuggled up snoring his head off
Keeping him off school for a couple of days, his Dad is looking after him today will give Jakes my works number just in case and then I have the day off tomorrow.

Glad to hear you had a nice time with Lou Jacky. You'll have to take a before and after of the house
Hope every one else had a lovely weekend and not feeling too poorly.

Internet is working again this morning but did go off again last night and the tv as well phoned up yesterday and laid the law down and they said they would put me down for a visit this afternoon after 3 not sure what happened but had a powercut on Friday and lost internet and tv it came back but has been intermittent all weekend

Good morning ladies, well here we have a lovey blue sky and the sun is out but really cold but might warm up a little later. Have been up since 4.45 as hubby will be away now till wednesday and i really hate him working away. As i really hate him being away i have sorted out my passport at last and will be going away with him on sunday, really looking forward to it. We will be going through france and doing a drop off in germany (my hubby drives a lorry and does removals) then going on through holland, then not sure but know we end up by vienna Austria so looking forward to that. I wasn't going to go as i will not have seen my boy T.j who is in florida for 3 weeks, and said i would stay home to see him and catch up on all about his fab time to which he replyed i'l go with dad then if your not!!! so as i wouldn't see him if he went i am going lol. Have not been abroad for years just cant afford it, so looking froward to this be like camping but in a big truck which is huge just no loo (so will be holding it till we find one lol) T.j is having a fab time just not able to talk to him for long aand missing him so much my daughter keeps saying when it comes to sunday she bets i wont go!!

Di lad to hear Jake is feeling better, hopefully if it is asthma related he may well grow out of it too. As My son T.j use to suffer alot but is now 15 and is so much better.xxxxx

Well it is raining here but seeing as I did all my housework (pretty much) before Jacky visited I can sit and hopefully craft today!

Good morning all, so glad Jake has had a good day and hope when he wakes he is feeling better too Wondered where you were Jan, glad it was just the internet thought Juli, make sure you do go and have a lovely time, I would hate it if Martin was away all the time. When we first got married he had to go away for 3 months, back for 3, then away again, lucky for me he didnt like it either so he changed his job, the reason why we moved here It was doing the same thing but wives were allowed to travel with them so I was all set to go off to French Guyana and the British pulled out of the space programme. He changed his job again still doing the same thing and ended up in Australia, but had also been to Holland and Germany with the company All before we had children too

I have stripped the bed and the washing machine is on, cleaned the kitchen, and am going to try to remove the tiles on the roof at the edges to replace them where they are damaged - hopefully will be able to take them off and replace them without having to do them all, but I am determined to take my time and have patience, not rush to get it all finished. He hasn't cut any holes yet Lou, but he is quite enthusiastic to help me which he didnt do on the other one Enjoy your crafting day

Forgot to mention..... I had a nice surprise this morning when I went onto another forum I belong to. The owner Angel was running a member sign up Forum Candy and I won it!!!! The first 50 new members to put their names down were entered in a draw and my name came out!!!!!

Afternoon....

Thought I had posted this morning... but I cant find it anywhere!!

Lovely sunshine here today. Its really warm sat here on the puter, but not so warm out!
Been to the Drs for my usual Thyroid blood test. And done a bit of hoovering.
Have been given a lovely big box of Thorntons chocs and some medicine ( a bottle of Southern Comfort... for medicinal purposes only you understand!!) We have the 3 dogs we look after from time to time, their mum and dad are going to Hong Kong for 2 weeks. So the doggies brought me a present!!!
Keith has had his drainage pipe taken out and also the epidural. So is now back on morphine tablets. He hopes to be out by about Thursday. He has the pain relief team going in again today to see him, so hopefully they will comfirm a day for him to go home. Do hope so, missing him so much... still darent go as although i am feeling a lot better, the back of my throat is still sore and now Amy has a sore throat.
Craft Day tomorrow.... definitely watching at 11.00... Martha Stewart products, looking forward to that hour.
