Good morning ladies, it is feeling milder today, I do hope all is well with you all and you have a good day. Off out with my daughter and the two eldest grandchildren today. Dont get to much of a chance to see her as she works for the school so really looking forward to today Have a wonderful day and take care. Janetxx

My fibre optit trre blew yeasterday so me and my son got the tinsel and baubles out and decorated the tree probably bin it after christmas and buy another for next year

up on me and I have to go out and buy a new gas hob
cause the one I have i'm sure is not safe
I got all my lights on the tree after testing them before
hand and once on the tree they wouldnt work so had
to go buy new ones

Does feel surprisingly warm this morning, even threw the extra throw off the bed last night coz I got so hot
Got the dreaded h*******k to do today and then go food shopping at some point, also nipping over to Folkestone to see a train might try and get out of that one though

I am here! For how long I don't know. Hubbgy has come down with dreaded man flu.... I am not impressed at all...How could he???? Keeps grunting and groaning all over the house!

Doing washing today and getting the house ready for my special christmas visitors! Lots to do!

Morning all, very mild today. Hope you have a good day with your daughter Janet. It is typical that things go wrong at Christmas. Better to find them out befor e the big day though as you can't do anything on the day Lou - just get your visitors to do the work for you I am just taking a break from wrapping up presents. Once again have gone over the top on Martin. Keep finding things I had forgotten I had bought. They are only silly little things but they all have to be wrapped. He has gone out to do a small job so thought I had the morning to myself. I had just finished wrapping up the things I had brought downstairs to do when he walked in Luckily there was nothing out for him to see. He has gone again now but think I will leave the rest of his until tomorrow when he is going to golf. I know I have a long time then

Neither do I. The worse part is when he gets home he tries to tell me hole by hole how the game went. It just goes in one ear and out the other. I keep saying I'm really not interested. I think he thinks if he makes it sound exciting I may take it up Not a chance

Jacky I wouldn't dream of making my visitors do the work.... I invited them....oh no, wait a min, they invited themselves LOL!!! just as well I lubs them!!!

We drove past the golf club near Sandwich yesterday and there were loads of men out there whacking their balls with their little sticks, have seen them out there when it has been pouring rain and blowing a wholee bet if you asked them to do something outside in that sorta weather they would make up some excuse but play golf in it oh just fine !!!!!

Well just hope you have time to relax and enjoy yourself. I am sure you will

Can't believe I've only some tidying up to do and maybe a few last minute bits of shopping. So organised for the first time ever -must have forgotten something!

Hi all well have just been and collected my new rug only thing is i dont think its the right size will have to see when it goes down, we are going into birmingham this after for the german market, so that should be fun my hubby hates going into brum and so we are going on the bus and metro, we have been married 37 yrs and he can count on one hand how many times hes been, he says he knows his way round truro better.

They had to rush my new grand daughter to hospital friday night has she has this virus and her temp was sky high, they didnt keep her but she had to go back on sat for a check up, now holly has gone down with it, at this rate the dog will be cooking xmas dinner.

Afternoon ladies. Been a busy bee this morning- made a coffee cake, cleaned oven - Yuck! washed floors, 3 loads of washing etc trying to get everything finished today and tomorrow so I'm not rushing round like a lunatic on Christmas eve. Got veggie shopping to do tomorrow then I'm ready!!

I noticed that Jan, there did seem to rather a lot of them yesterday, and they seemed to be backing up, perhaps one of them was taking to long batting the little white thingie Love Janetx

Martin thought that was hilarious but he does agree he prefers playing golf in the rain than walking the dog in it.

We went to the pub at lunchtime today as Monday is OAP discount day - and had a lovely Christmas dinner with christmas pud to follow Just as we left, we had a phone call from Sally who was stuck in Camberley multi-storey car park and her car was "smoking". When she checked under the bonnet she realised it was steam so we went to find her. Camberley today was a nightmare to get into, had to chuck Martin out near the car park and then go find a parking space about half a mile away A pipe had broken so they called the AA and he couldnt get his van in the car park so she had to pay to get out again and meet him at the exit Poor girl had a day off work to finish her shopping and ended up paying for the car park and not shopping. Anyway he fixed it temporarily for her and she drove us back to where I had found a parking space so she parked there when we drove off. Alls well that ends well, she got her shopping done

We have been into birmingham tonight to the german market it was very nice and colourfull, bought some nice chocolates and doughnuts,

Lou thanks for your concern Lucy is a lot better thanks sarah says she is smiling again so that is a good sign, but Holly has gone down with it now shes 7 but her temp was up so high last night she didnt know where she was but she seems a little better tonight theres just sam and sarah now to get it.

Well am off upstairs to watch telly and might have me an early night.

Evening ladies we went over to Folkestone to see the Tangmere (steam train) AGAIN Took my mates little boy and he loved it, but both him and Mike nearly died of fright when they blew some steam off and it covered the platform, funny this is Mike was taking some video with his camera at the time and all of a sudden it goes from looking at the train to all over the place and then you hear all the sharp intakes of breath and then laughing, Mike looked round quick to see where Jake was to make sure he didn't disappear off the platform in the cloud of steam but he was behind him laughing as well Then we went back to his house and had a cuppa with my mate while Jake showed Mike how to play Super Mario cart of his Wii, Jake's Dad came in and Jake said to him Mike is much at this than you Dad and Mike puffed his chest up a little, men huh
As for golf I just don't see the fascination with it other than if your not driving and spend a fair amount of time at 19th hole
