Morning ladies hope everyone is well, have been away for the weekend to the inlaws, i thought weekends away were supposed to be nice and relaxing, how come we always feel uptight and fed up. His parents are both 82 and his mom had her moaning head on this weekend, and boy can she moan. Even hubby was fed up by sunday.

Went into the qvc shop at warrington and spent far to much, but when you get the packs home and open them the things you really wanted are missing from the packs. So must be more careful in future.

Will take me all day to catch up on the chat from the weekend.

Not doing much to day stripped the bead and got washing but thats about it....lovely and sunny here today hope it lasts ! might go over to ' Hobby Craft' as they sell Big Shot bits and I love the look of the new frames .Iam into my scrapping big time , that was the phone my friend is comming with me ,now I won't get away with spending only a little bit .....report back later lexie

Going back to work after time off is a bit like the first day of term all over again isn't it Jan? Part of you doesn't mind going back as you missed friends but the freedom part of you wants to stay at home he he. Thankfully its a feeling I won't get to experience again, see there are perks of being an old crock he he.

Lou hun sending you masses of positive vibes and hugs and hope they do something positive to help you very soon. They would think that I had Turrets by now if it was me, I get asked often if I have it when I curse under my breath after another stumble, so if I was in your position they would be loud and clear curses he he.

I spent some time babysitting my granddaughters on Saturday, they are brilliant and were so helpful as they realised that I couldn't play with them as I normally do. I had prepared a kit of beads, threads and ribbons though so we sat down on the floor and played making necklaces, bracelets and rings for hours he he. I put all the beads with larger holes in one box and in their separate little sections, and opened it up saying they could help themselves .... their faces were a picture Well worth the cost of going to my local cheapie shop to restock the box for next time he he. I will definitely buy a narrower gauge jewellry elastic though, the one I took kept fraying and making it difficult to thread the beads on. Saying that it was only a problem for me and the oldest granddaughter - the youngest one produced 2 necklaces, 2 bracelets and one ring for herself, a bracelet for her dad and one for her mum whilst Keishia and I managed 1 necklace and 4 bracelets between us he he. One of the things that was a resounding success was the letter beads that enabled me to make them bracelets with their names on They even made a little one to fit over Pete's mobile he he - just in case he forgets whose it is he he. They said it was as he lost his other mobile so that if anyone finds this one they know who to bring it back to, oh bless he he. I'll post a photo of the jewellery chests and name card I made for Keishia's birthday later today or during the week depending on when I organise the photos in my camera

Beads always go down well don't they, Dulcie and I often sit down with the bead chest, really helps Dulcie with hand eye contact, she is dysbraxic so anything like that is good for her.Iam back to the Drs as My chest is still bad , really getting me down now...it could be alot worse.Talking of which I hope LOU you are on the mend a big hug from me to and hugs to all the poorlies and spouses. speak later lexie

Good morning all (sorry it's afternoon now) have spent too long on Facebook this morning and time has flown by Glad to see you had a lovely time with your grandchildren Jen, sounds like fun Hope the day isnt too long at work today Jan Have done my card swap though so that is going in the post this afternoon with all the ATCs. They took longer to sort out this month as I started to do them and then realised I hadnt photographed them so had to start again

I have just had an email from on of my schoolfriends who bumped into one of our other friends (Kate Thorntons mum) and they are between them arranging a school reunion on 3rd October. Really looking forward to it I am still in touch with 2 girls who I started school with at the age of 4 - we were always best friends and my mum says she can never remember us arguing especially as there were 3 of us and I can't either.

Well what a first day back, gets down to the connecting bus stop 20 mins early, got earlier one didnt want to be late on 1st day back and well was still sat there nearly an hour later, blinking bus had broken down, so my good intention flew out the window when I walked through the door at work 15 mins late
Had a text from Di and she arrived arrived safely and Jakey was already at the kids area playing
Oh not sure if I mentioned yesterday but had a lovely lunch with Dick and Janet and she said to send her love to everyone and she hopes to be back very soon x

Just catching up after being away for a week. Nice to see Keith's home again.
Hope everyone else is OK.

Class this morning and jst got back from aerobics class. Boy, did I need it. All those BBQs, fast food and full English breakfasts have taken their toll! It will take a month to get rid of all I put on. Might have to go back to fat club to get me motivated again.

Just off to put all the crafting things away from this morning and finish off my ATCs before moving on to the card swap and challenge for this month.

Well Virgin man came nice and on time thank goodness otherwise I could have been there till 4pm. I'd taken some scrapbooking mags to read as I'm thinking of doing a bit of proper scrapbooking (not digital). Also managed to get his DVD recorder working (he's only had it 18 months!) for freeview but not the virgin box as I don't think they're connected. I'll play with that another day. Came home and got washing on line and have come upstairs to do card swap but mind is blank - got absolutely no ideas at all - must put thinking cap on.

had a hossy appt this morning and Sister Walsh took one look at me and re-booked my epidural for wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Evening...

Late on today... but all is well. Keith has had a quite a good day. Had a good nights sleep up until about 6.00 this morning. Hasnt had a sleep up until now, and he is worn out, so he is having '5 minutes' snooze.
Back to childminding for me tomorrow. Just hope they behave - will see how this week pans out.
Been a lovely warm day today, had to go into town for Keith. Intended on doing lots today... got nothing done.

HI everyone , lou sooo pleased that your appoinment has been booked for wedneday , lets hope it does the trick. Good to see Jane back .I've been to afriends this evening,we had a 'girlie night' and a catch up of each others gossip! I did'nt have a glass of wine as back on antibiotics , went to dr this afternoon and he said my chest was worse this week than last week, I said my earache and sore throat had gone , he said good that I was so positive !!!! New antibiotics , had to take 2 straight away and then one a day for 6 days ...boy oh boy did I feel nauseas but Iam ok now . speak tomorrow lexie
