Morning, a lovely sunny morning here this morning, but a cold wind too. Have done a bit of h*******k, cleaned the dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Going to do the inserts now for the cards I have made and need to post 2 of them today. Did all the inserts last night but have now realised, as I was about to put them in, that I did a couple as landscape which should have been portrait Mad The dog hairdresser is coming today to sort Molly out Laughing I have left it longer this time as when she was due to be clipped the weather was really cold and snowy, thought I would wait a while but now she looks really fat Laughing Laughing Wish I could have my haircut and look slim again lol! Hope your cold sore disappears soon Jan, I have never suffered from them but my best friend did.

Enjoy your day, whatever you are doing. Very Happy

Good afternoon ladies. Bit chilly here- had to put a jacket on in the garden. Spent an hour tidying up and pruning. Can only manage an hour at a time as otherwise it affects my back amd I don't want to put it out again. Got to make a card for my son's girlfriend's birthday this afternoon.

Afternoon ladies Smile

Inserts Mad I have the same problem, keep printing them out in the wrong orientation Twisted Evil
Doctors, sometimes makes me wonder if they have actually qualified, and it does make you wonder that a vet does more years training than a human doctor Rolling Eyes
Got enough problems with the 2 I have Lou, one deaf & blind who has taken to screaming to get attention and the other who is rapidly turning into Victor Meldrew, ok he has never had a face that looked happy but he has the moods to go with his ugly mug now Laughing

ps forgot to say Di nipped in this morning for a quick cuppa and dropped off her new stamps for me to have a play with, so have been busy stamping this morning, whilst trying to make a loaf of bread that is actually edible Rolling Eyes

Bread was a bit of a disaster Jacky, the outside cooked but the middle didnt, well not fully and when I went to turn it out of the pan the middle semi cooked bit flopped out onto the bread board and the crust; which tasted quite nice actually, remained firmly fixed in the pan, I managed with a few choice words to get it out and promptly put the middle back in it and put it in the oven but think it was beyond repair, so now have a lovely crust and no middle lol!

Bet Molly looks cute now Smile I want an apricot poodle but Mike said NO Sad

Laughing Laughing Laughing but the crust is the best bit anyway Jan. That's why I gave up with my breadmaker, didnt like the hole in the middle. Ian has started making his bread with the mixer now, after he broke my breadmaker, and it turns out lovely Very Happy

Post  Jenny M Mon Mar 09, 2009 8:39 pm

Sorry Jan but I'm having a little giggle here imagining the bread, then to add insult to injury Mike finding the cook book he he. Hope your cold sore is better soon Smile

So you now have a pretty poodle again Jacky, are you going around asking him "Who's a pretty boy then? " he he. As for Rolo !!!! well tell him Tash would be disgusted with his naughty behaviour he he Smile

I'm somewhat peed off tonight as after 4 hrs of tests in hosp including full bloods, ECG, 4 x-rays etc etc they decided they would not be doing the op this week as they forgot to book me in for 2 months physio ahead of the op to strengthen the inner quad muscles to ensure that my kneecap stays in place after the op. The waiting list for the physio is .... they have no idea. Then once all the physio is over and I pass the position test I then rejoin the waiting list for the knee op !!! It's a bit like someone handed me hope then when I was a few steps up the ladder of anticipation of a normal life ... they whipped the ladder away from me Sad It seems my outer quad muscle is over developed and pulling the kneecap too much in that direction so I have to build up the inner quad muscle to pull it back. Its physio I would have to do after the op anyway as 2 weeks strapped up in a straight position would render the muscles weak so to bend the knee again I would have to do physio. To me it seems a bit silly building them up before knowing they are going to be useless afterwards anyways, but hey I'll dance to their tune as I'm prepared to try anything now, just wish they had told me this 4 months ago when I first saw him.

Moan over .... I'm going on holiday soon he he Smile

Have a good evening guys Smile

So sorry to hear about your op being postponed, it sounds like you could really do it with now. It's stupid that they couldn't keep you on the list and review you when you get nearer the top again instead of adding you after the physio. Doctor's logic doesn't make any sense Rolling Eyes

Well done Mike on finding THE BOOK, keep practising Jan then I can collect fresh bread on the way to work Smile

As I said to you my ex brought me a bread maker when I gave birth to my son as I would have loads of time being on maternity leave. Only made the 1 loaf and you could build a brick wall with it, never been out of the box since.

Oh Jen, I would be absolutely furious - how could they forget to give you the physio first, and as you say, you have to have it afterwards Rolling Eyes Lou, I would love to give Rolo a home, just asked Martin and his reply "not on your life" - sorry Sad I am sure he is out of the dog house now though - you can't stay mad at them for long lol! So glad Mike found the book Jan lol!
