Monday morning ..............again

Monday morning is here but I expect most of you are still sleeping as we are 8 and a half hours ahead. Grey skies and a bit cooler thankfully. 'Me gut's a bit crook' still after all the bumping about last week but as the girls are at school I'm having a rare lie in and am taking my cuppa back to bed for another hour. Think I've picked up a kidney infection and don't feel like eating much yet, so taking it easy for a couple of days - luckily nothing major planned, just some gentle site-seeing.

Thanks girls - a lot better now with the extra rest. At least the few pounds i put on have gone again. Even modern 4x4s feel as though they're sprung like a dunny seat in those conditions!

Start of another working week hopefully it will be busier this week at work otherwise the day really drags. I keep threatening them with changing the first aid room into a craft room as I have plenty of projects I want to get on and do

Just sneak a few bits in everyday Di, before they notice you will have a fully functioning craft room

Well I am running out of room at home so it would help to create one at work. Just think we could have weekly craft sessions and it would save me money on getting the loft converted

Would be handy would only have to walk up the road

Great excitment here - we've just had a shower - the first rain in over 12 weeks! More expected tomorrow and could be heavy. Got some great pix of the girls dancing with umbrellas so will post them later.

Morning all How brilliant Janet a picnic, I love them come rain or come shine he he. It reminded me of the picnic that Pete and I had in a cave entrance last year as it was raining and windy on the beach he he. I have bits of driftwood and shells from most beaches that we've been to, the little bits for card toppers and the larger ones are in my living room. I think I'm slowly moving the beach into my flat he he. I love the look on driftwood though, perhaps I should have a go at carving some rather than have chunks of it all over the place he he.

I have a bit of a hectic time today and tomorrow with various meetings regarding the events of last week. Its going to be really difficult to get my stress levels down whilst coping with Council apathy towards tenant safety. Looks like it will need to be lots more parchment work and each time I do a pricking part I can think of them he he.

" slip out without my being able to stop them in time he he. I don't like me when I argue, thank goodness I don't do it very often
