Morning... it feels a bit cold out - havent been out, but have just got up and the heating has only just come on.
Got the children coming today, but once I have taken them to school, I want to nip into town - just to have a look around. I havent got Amy's Advent calendar yet. It will give me the chance to have a look round on my own!!!
Amy back to school today, but she finishes early so will be back here just after 1.30. She is a lot better, but now has a snuffly cold.
Off now to make some sandwiches... enjoy your day x

Jakes has got a birthday party to go to today, I've cheated brought a cheap card from Tesco and put money in it
Scaffolding is still up outside my house so hopefully they will get the job done today but I expect that depends on the weather and it doesn't look too good today

Had trouble posting earlier - Good morning all, wet and windy here today. Managed to get started on my Christmas cards last night so will be carrying on with that today

OMG it is freezing out there, and how daft am I? Mum just phoned and asked if I wanted a trip over to Portsmouth ad I said yes!!

Rolo is a bit perkier this morning, he had a good night, I checked on him every couple of hours and he slept like a baby bless him.... he has managed a bit of gravy covered dog food this morning and I managed to get him to drink a bit of warm milk too..... we diluted it with warm water coz he loves a bit of milk and he just couldn't resist! I force fed him his antibiotics and he was not impressed again but never mind! Hee has made a few attempts to get his ball and throw it at me this morning too and that must mean he is feeling a little better at least. Thanks for all the good vibes peeps xxx

Good morning ladies Brrrrrrrrr its very cold outside and a bit windy too, im staying in today with the heating on Got my mate popping round later with her grandson. Just fettling around has did hou****k yesterday, got washer on but its going in the dryer has its trying to snow here hugs to poorlies and if you are off out enjoy

Morning ladies - won't say "good" as it's horrible here - cold and very very wet! Had doctor's appt first thing- as usual had a nightmare parking as car park just not big enough and no parking in road. BP apparently OK after all. Busy tidying up after weekend. A mound of washing as stripped beds David and Sandra used and changed mine as well. Decided time to put winter duvet on - fighting with it always knackers me! But done now. Hoping rain will ease off a bit as need to do a bit of food shopping later.

Freezing outside - steaming inside - must be all that washing on airers and radiators around the house!

Still enough food in the fridge to last another day or so so don't have to drive through the huge 1 foot deep puddle in the entrance to ASDA today!

Might go for my aerobics class later to make sure I don't put any weight on this week.
Off to put a jacket potato in the oven for lunch - tuna today I think.

Been tidying the craft room and putting all the stuff away from last week's class. There were 6 of us and we made 4 cards each so quite a mess.

Just been up to works social club to pay for the kids to go to the panto this year, (Robin Hood - very seasonal)
at £1 per child with drink and crisps in there and a selection box when they leave it is a bargain.

It is a very icy wind out there and has started raining again! OH in London for 2 days on a course so I am trying to
get a few things done while he is not there getting on my nerves. Why when you are up to your neck doing one job
do they start wanting to discuss another and then when you show no interest you are grouchy!

Stay in the warm and craft those that can. I will get back to work as it pays the bills.

Di... Good luck with the advent calendar... I tried all over town and my local shops to get one and I couldnt get one at all. I am so disappointed - although Amy is 16 she still wants one! Could have got a Ben 10, but dont think she would appreciated that one!!
Lou... sounds as if Rolo could be picking up - ((hugs)) for you, and pats for Rolo!!!!
Its nice and sunny out - but very cold.

Evening all,

Well I froze me bones this morning but got some more christmas pressies sorted!

Also got some lovely snuggly PJ's for the girls..... thick fleece ones from Primark for £4 a pair! They have them on already! The house always feels cold in the morning coz our boiler doesn't have a timer.... you either have to leave it on all night or turn it on in the morning!

Rolo is eating fairly well and has been drinking a bit, I keep threatening him with the plastic water syringe and pointing at his bowl.... he gets the message and has a quick drink before I fill the syringe!!!

Time for his antibiotics soon, so that should be fun!
