Wet Wednesday again

Good morning all, wet and miserable here this morning. Last night Sally came over to pick up her bunnies and her car was overheating. She said the heater wasnt working either so she called out the AA at 9.00pm they said they would be there before 9.55. At 10.30 she phoned again and they said he should be there soon, phoned again at 11.15 and they said he was on his way and I think he arrived 11.30 She was so tired and thought she would just pop and get them, not stop, take them home and sit and watch the tv programme she was looking forward to, then have an early night. Bless her, she left here at midnight, with the rabbits, and still had to sort them out when she got home. The thing is, the car had cooled off by the time he got there, so he just topped up the water gave it a good revving which cleared the airlock, and it was working but Martin has told her to get it checked out at the garage as the water must have got out somewhere because it had gone right down and hadn't boiled.

Havent any plans as yet today, think I need to have a quick tidy round and then a play in my craft room Hugs to any poorlies out there and their families too.

Pouring hard with rain here to and still quite dark, I hate this weather, can handle cold and sunny but cold wet and dark
I still havent lit the fire yet and its cold but cant be bothered yet, just wrapped a blankie round my knees for the time being Nope decided too cold, have just lit, lets hope it stays alight
Got to finish off Jayne's paperwork today and juggle some money to pay her electric bill or at least ring them and ask for a bit of extra time while I do That's the last one to worry about for the moment thankfully
Well now Dean is out of the shower going to jump in it and out again very fast

I am hoping to be able to sit long enough to make a card from a gorgeous Kizzy Dizzy kit today, cut it out last week but haven't been able to sit to assemble it LOL!!!

I am fine now thank you Janet, I really think it was the hyacinths that was causing it as my eyes are fine and headache gone but I think there must have been a side effect as I have been busy cleaning and enjoying it Luckily Sadie text me and brought me to my senses Sally phoned, very sleepy this morning to ask her day if he thought it was ok to drive the car to work this morning - he had gone to work so I just told her to check the water was still in the header tank and if it is then use it Hope that was right but it is only up the road and she has it booked into the garage tomorrow

Hope you get the electric company to give you time Jan, I am sure they will in the circumstances Lou, did you get to your hydro, you sound as though you are still not too good so sending you positive thoughts today along with a big hug

Andrea, is there a really good looking instructor at that gym - the only reason for going - dont know if I sent you the email about gyms

Yes I did get there...... was soooo tired after my dad had to collect the girls from school!

Morning all Nearly afternoon, just going off soon to get my neice with her lovely little daughter Summer she has just started crawling so will be real fun and can't wait. They are staying for a few days as she is having a bit of a time a the min bless her. Been up with really bad toothache in the night that just seems to be easing little now, had my appointment from the dentist and can't get in till mid march as have to hav to two teeth out at hospital because my sinus's are low???

I often think it depends on which operator you get in these circumstances

As you say this 'dreich' (dingy, dark, overcast) weather has a LOT to answer for

I used to love the gym too Andrea
The buzz I used to get from it was something else
Nothing like an adrenalin buzz to make you feel better
My upper arms used to be so firm and I used to get compliments on them
Now they seem to wobble along like the rest of me
At least with me moving so slow the wobble factor isn't so obvious

Just got word that my sister is getting out of hospital today
But only if she goes back to her daughters for a while
My niece is more than happy to have her, she is a really good lass

Good afternoon all. Just got back from book club. Very miserable out there I hadn't realised it was so cold either so didn't wear gloves! Just catching up with posts before Roy turns up. He's decided he needs exercise so walks down to me (2 miles) as soon as he gets in from work, has a cuppa then supposedly walks back. But so far once I've driven him home and once he caught the bus and twice he's had lifts down!

Good evening ladies did not go gym put my feet up insted was too tired. Been up to school with Greg has it was his Valentine disco , it was snowing on the way up and was totally covered on way home was very shocked to see all that snow again . Looks like its stopped now.
