Snowy Sunday
Good morning everyone. It's freezing cold here today and yet another inch of snow has fallen over night.
Michaela had a great time in Aberglaslyn although she came home very tired. She had done gorge walking, mountain climbing in the snow, survival training where she had to build a shelter to keep out the rain (her teams was the only one that didn't leak when the leader threw water over it) and some research on seaweed and Llickens on the coast.
I've got a huge pile of ironing to do today so that will keep me busy
(((HUGS))) to all the poorlies. Have a good day

Re: Snowy Sunday
Good morning Frances and all who follow - what an exciting time Michaela must have had, Sally would have loved doing all that even now Not my idea of fun I'm afraid - gorge walking and mountain climbing in the snow Enjoy your ironing Frances.
Pouring with rain here this morning when we got up, but seems to have stopped now. Got to finish the card I started yesterday but had a headache last night so didnt finish it. Realised after Martin had taken the kids off that I had forgotten to give Sally Ians birthday card They come home the day after his birthday so I text him and told him that he would have it then.
Hugs to all the poorlies out there, and have fun whatever you are doing today

Re: Snowy Sunday
Still very cold and its been tipping down until just now. The sky is a bit brighter but there's more to come. Puddles everywhere. The road and pavement have been dug up next door by the Gas board. They need a new supply pipe laid, there are faults in the main but luckily we're just about OK now the new regulator has been fitted to the meter.
The boiler clock is a bit erratic and I sometimes need to overide the setting - it didn't come on this morning and the clock said Monday! Its due for a service in April - and probably a new clock so we're trying to make do
