Monday Morning Blues?
Happy St David's Day (sorry, can't find a daffodil)
Morning all. I'm up with the lark finishing off my prepfor today's class. This was just what I needed to kickstart me again as I hadn't made a card in my craftroom since early January!
Might try gentle aerobics this afternoon followed by a sauna as the knee is working a bit better. Nice to see the sun this morning even if it is freezing. The gritters were out last night again and the temperature is due to drop throughout the week
Going to see Tim Vine tonight so should have a good laugh. Nice to get back to the old routine. Have a great week all and hugs to the poorlies

Morning Jane, Lou and all who follow. It's freezing here but the sun is out so I don't care.
Off to the Drs in a bit with Kayleigh as her foot is hurting again and she hasn't had any sleep since Friday because of it. (I can tell she is bad because she just wants her foot cut off or put back in plaster)
Jane hope the class goes well
Jan we will be thinking of you as you travel back to Ireland
((((HUGS)))) to all poorlie people

Re: Monday Morning Blues?
Good morning all, beautiful sunny crisp morning here this morning. Badminton tonight and our walk tomorrow. Just had a phone call to say the planned walk is too muddy so could we do the one that we did earlier in the year, so Martin has gone off on his bike to check it out
Glad you got your mojo back Jane and sorry to hear Kayleigh is in pain again Frances it must be so frustrating for her too - hugs to her and all the poorlies out there. Thinking of you Jan, hope the journey is a good one

Re: Monday Morning Blues?
Just come back from the doctors, they want to refer her back to the consultant she last saw so it looks like she will have to suffer for a month until we can get an appointment. On the other hand the Dr did say if she is still in pain by Thursday then by all means take her to A&E but she doesn't think that they will do anything either until she has seen the consultant so until then Kayleigh has to suffer in pain and stuff her body full of paracetamol and Ibuprofen again

Re: Monday Morning Blues?
That is so bad Frances, a young girl like that shouldn't be on those sort of things for a long time. I can't take Ibrupofen as it irritates my stomach so goodness knows what it does to a younger one
Re: Monday Morning Blues?
Having a good day so far. Class went well (even though I had to 'wing' it) Managed most of the aerobics class and even swam 4 lengths - the first time I've been able to do the leg strokes. Very slow but I'm pleased with my progress.
Still need to get a referral to the ortho man to see if/how well it is healing and whether I actually need surgery. I'll need a repeat prescription soon so better make an appointment to see my doctor sooner rather than later.
Looking forward po our night out - could do with a good laugh - its been such a sad weekend. Do hope Kayleigh gets that leg sorterd soon. It must be hard coping with the pain and immobility for someone so young
