and its a wet morning !!! Its mornings like this that I am pleased I no longer have to do the school run.
Going to whip the hoover round in a minute... we have got a lady coming to see us regarding Mum's care package that is due to start on monday.
Amy has just gone to school and she is sleeping over at a friends house tonight - they are going to see Alice in wonderland tomorrow. Looks a bit scary to me!!!

Hope the rest of you are ok..... it is persisting it down here today and its freezing cold almost sleety rain!

Got the shopping coming from asda between 10 and 12.... d'uh what bright spark ordered it so it came when no one else was here to help..... oh blast, that would be me then!!!

Made a few cards yesterday afternoon that did not involve printer, although I am using the desktop PC fine this morning, started up first time, so I have no idea whats going on, if I suddenly disappear you'll know why LOL

Wow, have just been reading the news... have you seen the reports on this new plaster they have developed for curing skin cancer.,... they reckons it works in 80 to 90 % of cases...... and because it is a cream that is applied on a sticking plaster and then activated to kill the cancer cells they reckon it could be done at GP surgeries.....

Another thing on the news I was sad to hear though is that Take Thats Mark Owen has been unfaithful and has a drinking problem I always liked Mark....

Good morning Karen, Lou, Janet and all who follow Janet, that made me giggle We have got a job to do in the kitchen today - on a mousehunt Went to put a new bag in the bin yesterday and a new pack of compost bin liners was underneath which had been nibbled I hunted high and low for any signs of mousedroppings and found two on the work surface. I know they weren't there when I went shopping as I had washed the surfaces down after breakfast. Havent found any more but this morning Martin is going to take off all the plinths in the kitchen and I am going to go through all the cupboards making sure any packets are not nibbled and to put vulnerable things like crisp packets in boxes. Wish me luck. The only thing I can think of is if a mouse popped in when I took Molly into the garden when I got back from shopping and may have left the door open. Lets hope it went back out again.

Having a good day. Been to Charlwood for a make and take and bought some great card and paper in the sale - 20 sheets for £5.99. More form filling and questions to get answers for re Visa. Time for a cuppa and relax!

Karen, I use that excuse most nights. Think we found how the mouse gets in, through the cavity wall via a air brick which also has a waste pipe going through it so there are gaps round the pipe which Martin has sorted. Just found a few droppings by the hole so now have the mousetrap next to it and nothing else had been nibbled so think it has only just arrived. But the kitchen looks great now with all the cupboards sorted and surprising how much could be thrown out too All the plinths were taken off the bottom of the cupboards and cleaned underneath too - it's been a while since that was done. We baited the trap with chocolate too, thanks Lou. We found that out when we had mice eating the guinea pig food in the shed and caught about 6 or could have been the same one coming back as Sal was releasing it at the top of the field behind us. I think it beat her back to the garden When we took them further away in the woods by Sals school every morning, we got rid of them.

Hi all Sounds like fun mouse hunting .... is it a variation of house hunting, only with them hunting for a house in your home? he he I always leave the plinths off my kitchen units as I find it easier to cl....llll....ea....n, darn it I said THAT word!! It also allows Tash to pop under and check out all the corners he he I've managed to make a couple of cards in the last week or so and will post them in my gallery soon.
