A lovely bright sunny start to the day and no volcanic ash to be seen !!
No plans for today, preparing for the new addition to the family for the weekend!! Amy is getting her old dolls cot out for Baby ? (no name yet!!) to 'sleep' in!! I suggested her old Moses basket, Keith suggested the floor!!!

I have my diabetic check up at 11.45am and then the shopping is being delivered between 2 and 4.... Asda this time, have totally given up on Tesco now..... spent my voucher on my very last shop and they still managed to muck it up....daft gits!

Hello all, am back from my checkup.....

BP is behaving and weight is stable, Blood Sugars have risen a bit but still in the bracket of NORMAL so thats fine, she says if I do notice any rise when checking them I can double my diabetic meds but I need to let her know..... relieved there is a bit of breathing room, coz I don't think I could cut much more out of my diet!

All in all it's fine, she reckons that I could probably come off the steroids after the op as it may well settle the arthritis down a bit and I wont then need the extra help from the steroids...here's hoping anyway! But she acknowledges that's a decision for my rheumatologist!

Afternoon everyone , just got back from Tunbridge Wells had a mooch around the shops , did;nt get anyhing exciting ,bu it was nice ,sat in he sunshine in he park for a little while .aswe pulled up Rupert rang , he's comming round to sort out his rain ticket to Liverpool, nex week , bless his heart Mr Indepence !Dulcie back 4 ish , so peace will be broken till sunday night and she goes home to her dad !

you got a problem with your 't' key Lexie

Good afternoon ladies believe me its not a good thing us being stuck here its the pits. We had to check out of our hotel we stopped in has they were asking for a lot of money, So we are now stuck in a crummy hotel next to the airport with nothing to do and low funds. Its like something out of a norman bates movie. Hugs to the poorlies will pop back later i am in tears its so boring

Lou glad your check up went ok, andrea what a shame your stuck there must be awfull to have to move from a lovely hotel to a crummy one.

I had a run in at the job centre on weds derek signs on and then two days later i go and pick two forms up for him, i went on weds to pick them up and this young girl went to the lady i call her that loosly she said the forms for the old man, well i went bloody mad, i said to her he is not an old man he is only 60 and what you think about your customers you should keep your opinons to your self till they have left i was so angry i was shaking and asked to see her supervisor who of course defended her, but i had my say and said if you lot have written him off he stands no chance of getting a job does he.

karen hope baby dosnt keep you up all night i hear they can be very demanding.

right off to get some tea, Jane hope you feel better to day.
