"Had drama today. Just about to come home and Craftbarn caught fire. 3 fire engines. Mostly in the studio and kitchen area. Loads of smoke and water damage! Won't be on the forum tonight - can you spread the word x"

Hugs to you Lexie, you must be so shocked. Hope you manage to have some sleep I love you

Hi Girls wow! What ashock that was ! I was clearing up at 5 last night washed all the cups up , did the bins , and noticed a awful smell , looked in the cupboard where the plug had blacked and smelt awful on friday , and it was fine ....... went into he office emptied the bins and went down to the loo cleaned it , ( after my glasses had fallen ino the loo, yes , I'd wee'd on 'em ! ).... and though that burning smell is awful went to check if someone was having a bombfire , and saw smoke comming out under the roof ran in to raise the alarm ane then Kati had though hat smell is dreadful and went to check , and saw smoke so she bashed the fire alarm , we were both trying to ring the fire service, they arrived pretty quick 1 from Lingfield and 2 from East Grinstead, , it took a good hour and half before we could go in and get our bags , the smell ....
Did'nt sleep last night , I was really shocked , I had literally been stood by the sink 5 miins before .If it had been any later and we'd of all gone it could of been much , much worse .Went in his morning , but we had no electricity , and the loss adjusters need to see the place .Thestudio took the brunt of it all , especially the little kitchen area .But Sandy has been exstreamly lucky , its a 500 year old Barn , wih wood beams and loads of wood !The paper room has had a lot of smoke and water damage , but the whole place stinks !so I don't know when I am next going in , all my shifts have been cancelled , but next week it will be all hands on deck ! ( Iam only working monday and tuesday then , we are away !).... I'll keep you upto date !
