Morning...

another lovely day - it was really warm yesterday, and looks like its going to be the same again today.
Had to phone my social worker yesterday, I am really needing some help as Keith is going into hospital on Monday for Day Surgery, (the last time he went in for Day Surgery, he came home and was admitted the same day and stayed there another 10 days!) he is having a few problems with his breathing so they will want to keep an eye on him. As it stands at the moment, he will go in Monday for the op, and come home on Tuesday. The SW is going to do her best to get things in motion (but I am not expecting miracles) but she goes on holiday today for 3 weeks! This happened the last time I needed them.
Anyway, an easy day for me, so going to make the most of it while I can!

Sun breaking through the clouds now and looks like it will be another lovely day. Clive's taking me down to Charlewood for a Make and Take! It will be good to get into a craft shop again and to make a card after such a long break. Time to chat to some old firends over a cup of coffee too. Makes a change from day-time TV.

Hope Keith gets 'sorted' OK on Monday Karen. Hugs to other poorlies and heave a great weekend everyone. Off to add a few more pieces to my 1000 piece jigsaw lent to me be a friend to keep me out of mischief - I'd forgotten this simple pleasure - must be at least 25 years since I've done one!

Nothing else to do for the next few days as I really am behaving myself and following doctor's orders! Talk to you later.

Meant to add.. yesterday when I took mum back home... there laying on the path was a bright shiny penny - so I picked it up... you know the saying, see a penny, pick it up...
then as I was coming home, Amy thought I had a moth on my back - it wasnt, it was a bird's calling card Think I might buy a lottery ticket this weekend if I can get a Black cat to cross my path !!

Morning all, sorry i have been awol since monday..... this week has absolutely flown by! Georgia's first day at big school this morning, felt quite emotional..... but am ok now...

The house is soooo quiet it's almost spooky.......

So what's been happening then? Anyone who is poorly and needs a hug then I am sending them by the barrow load!!

OMG had to laff this morning..... Georgia's first day at big school today so she was feeling a bit nervous.... so I gets up this morning feeling all stiff and achy but putting on a happy cheery face and mucking about in general. When we got downstairs Georgia was awful quiet so I put her fave music on the CD player and started jiggying about the room..... she snapped out of the glums pretty quick so I pootled off the the kitchen to get on with brekkies and lunchboxes etc but still boogeying and when I looked up I saw my neighbour looking straight at me thru the kitchen blind laughing his socks off at my dancing Oh well, it made the kids and his day so what do I care! Georgia said to me after she prefers my dancing AFTER I have had my pain meds in the morning!!!

So we set off to take Georgia in and as she has to be in half hour before Emily, i had to take Emily up to Georgias school with me... she took her bike (Emily) and was such a pain in the posterior that I was all hot and bothered by the time we got back .... then she literally had to sling her bike in the back garden and get out the front door to walk her down the road for her school! The sooner poor Georgia gets someone to walk to school with her in the mornings the less stressful my life will be!!!

Oh yeah....can't remember if I have been on since it happened but just to let you know Ady took the Managers job x

Good for him he deserves it. Its good he had the courage to stand up to those bullies. Hope it goes well for him, I'm sure he'll sort out the trouble makers in no time.
