Sunny Saturday

Good morning all, beautiful day here but was very cold first thing. The rabbits have been put out to mow the lawn, and Martin is painting the bin cupboard door, he spent yesterday putting a new one on as the other one had finally given up He seemed to keep repairing it with new slats but it is beyond repair now. Don't know what I am doing today yet.

I was sure it was Saturday today!!!!

Just a quick visit as off to theatre this afternoon to see calendar Girls. We had tickets for the it first time round but were both ill on the day so gave them to a friend to use- didn't even get a box of chocs as a thank you! Last time they get and expensive freebie!

Looking forward to it this time. Off to have brunch now.

Just wishing this day away, I was ok until I saw Jo's post on facebook and it set me off, it was my late brother's birthday today I had remembered but it didnt affect me until I saw her posting remembering him.

May walk down to the shops later but plan to spend some more time in the craft room now i'm beginning to get my mojo back - more poinsettias and trying out some new embossing folders.

Just noticed I'm not very good at 'I's. i seem to take my finger off the caps key too quickly!

So flipping cold I haven't ventured upstairs yet. Its nice and warm in the kitchen cos so far I've cooked.....

4 liver and bacon meals - 2 with mashed potatoes on top and the other 2 with cooked diced and sauted potatoes (both with yummy onion gravy). we'll have one lot tonight and the others can go in the freezer for later next week.

2 banana, walnut and sultana loaves

12 little fruit sponge cakes

1 apple and cinnamon upside down pudding

prepared all the veg for tonight and tomorrow (roast chicken) - potatoes, sweet potatoes, runner beans, shredded cabbage, carrots

Off to have a nice cuppa then maybe crafting till strictly comes on at 6.00!

Lots of rest in between and no lifting. see the doc Monday and am dreading it. Still, if I can drive again it will be a bonus.

Hello ladies, we did the food shop early has i had the virgin man coming to sort my box out He came later than he should took him fifteen minits to do his stuff and he was off. Glad he came really because he put a new cable in and a splitter has it was taking my broadband off . Went to argos then to pick my dumbbells up and exercise mat up then chilled watching new channels. Got all the washing dry . Hugs to any poorlies.
