HAPPY NEW YEAR - 2011

Where are you all?
I hope you had a fab evening with family or friends, my OH had to go to work at 5 am this morning, but he still stayed up
with the godchildren and my folks and we all got to bed for 12.30. The lazy nippers haven't surfaced yet so I am enjoying the
calm before the storm.
I hope 2011 brings you everything you wish for, we are waiting to hear next week whether hubby is keeping his job or has to
start hunting and my place should start telling us soon exactly who is going where and doing what. So obviously I am hoping
2011 settles down soon and most definitely more crafting time!

Not been on for a bit had a crash just before xms nice lady went right up the bum of or car and back trouble really bad since!!! had a lovely xmas and was wonderful with Kian bless him his first christmas, but after breakfast he fell a sleep lol nd then was so excited bles him (loved all the paper we passed his way lol). Spent all day yeasterday from 10.20 till just after 7 last night, Camersons leg had locked up the day before and took over an hour and a half to unlock it, he is in agony bless him. As he still couldnt straighten his leg got hi to docs at 9.30 and they sent us straight to hospital. This is ongoing for him for about 18 months/2years and happening more and more. His physio and exersicing has not helped, they had him on morphine(sorry cant spell) and ibuprofen and calpol!! still he couldnt striahten it, and was in tears. (he doest cry and he has a good tolerance to pain) he had xrays, ice packs but now needs MRI scan. and got to go back tuesday, he is home now although they did say they could admit him!! but he didnt want to stay and nothing more they could except the morphine. so he has pain killers and crouches and laid up bless him. Will diffently be a new year to remember. We went to bed at 9 as shattered and up no sleep the night before with cameron. Was rudley awoken just after 12 by some idiot with an air horn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To say we was not happy is an understatement. Well gosh witten loads here so will stop borring you all love and best wishes to all poorlies and everyone else to, hope you all have A WONDERFUL 2011.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Good morning all and a HAPPY NEW YEAR to you

Martin, Sally and I spent the evening together watching a film (which I just didn't understand) Inceptor all about dreams but I wasn't really with it anyway. We went to bed just after midnight and I slept right through until 9.00 this morning not even getting up for the loo Stayed in bed though and Martin got up and made a cuppa. Sally is still in bed, havent heard a thing from her either I feel a lot better this morning.

Nice to see you on here Janet and Juli what a terrible end to the year - hope 2011 is better for you and yours and for Pat and OH too. In fact, I hope 2011 is better all round for everyone

Had a little kip on the sofa yesturday woke up feeling horrendous , sore throat , coughing ! 2 hours later Micky started , this morning Dulcie woke up sore throat etc .... we did'nt go out to our friends last night and were tucked up in bd by about 10 ! .... even Dulcie
Jacky We watched that film round our friends the other night , they were raving about it but I did'nt get it and fell asleep ! Good company me ah ! ? So sort of glad you were the same !

Nothing much planned for today again been shopping and got a few bits we needed also John asked me what i wanted for my birthday i said just give me a bit of money has ive treated myself to a kindle . Big hugs to everyone who are poorly and hope you are better soon. Got myself a baileys gift pack for tonight has i did not have a drink last night.

I wasn't too good yesterday either - had upset tummy in the morning - not sure why can't have been anything I ate the felt very tired with very achy legs for the rest of the dat. had intended having an early night but actually went up just befire midnight. Then had to read till all the fireworks stopped! Feel a bit better today but still a bit swimmy headed. (And I haven't had any alcohol!) Popped across to the garden centre to see if the new Creativity mag and goody bag was in - it wasn't but we did get a snow shovel so that's it ladies - there won't be anymore snow now!!!

We didnt see the New Year in, had a lovely chinese and watched a bit of tv. Went to bed, and got woken at midnight. Fireworks had been going off all evening, but come midnight, it was like bonfire night!
Had Roast Beef for lunch, followed by White chocolate gateaux from Iceland... it was nice and light, very yummy and I am sure I read on the box it was slimming... just the thing you need for New Year's day!!
Its damp and dismal out, but not as cold as what it has been.
