Morning...

Going to spend the day in the kitchen where its going to be nice and warm! Have prepared lunch and just got to make some pastry for an apple pie.
Amy is sat on the settee wrapped up in her duvet... she looks like a cuddly slug!!

Good afternoon Karen and anyone who follows Bless you Karen, you poor thing but your dinner sounds lovely. I would love an apple pie please. I have Sally coming for dinner, late one today as she was out with Ian at the pub last night after we had all had dinner out. He was meeting his friends there and Ruth was picking them up about midnight. I just saw her on chat on facebook and reminded her and just as well I did as she had forgotten What an airhead Ruth has a wedding fair today so she didnt want a drinking evening and had to get things ready. Martin has discovered why I have been cold this last week. The thermostatic rad valve in the hall by the thermostat had been knocked off (probably by Callie) so the radiator wasnt turning off - therefore the hall was getting warmer and the whole house was cold because the thermostat switched the heating off. Hopefully Martin can fix it.

Decided what to do for Ian's card this morning, just got to do it now

Thank goodness for that Jacky- I was getting worried about you being so cold when I wasn't and just a few minutes drive away!!

Evening everyone. I've just got back from dropping Michaela off at my parents. Bless her she was in floods of tears as she is so nervous about flying. I have told her there is nothing to worry about and so has my Mum and Dad.

Jacky glad you finally know why you have been so cold.
