Afternoon everyone. Have spent the morning catching up on tv and card making. What a miserable morning but I have almost finished my swap card for October I don't know what's wrong with me. Off now to get ready to got out to my son's for dinner as they invited us yesterday Even the weather looks as though it's brightening up now a little. Hope you have all had a good weekend

Good afternoon all, we spent the morning with our son at Asda it is really horrible here, wet cold and windy, I hope you are all well Janet xx

Its nippy here but thankfully the rain and wind that was around yesterday has gone.

Miserable weather here today but at least it's stopped raining now. Spent yesterday afternoon playing with one of the stamps I bought at Ally Pally. Now I've got lots of stamped and embossed images (having got the result I wanted) and no idea how I'm going to mount them on a card. Inspiration is lacking! My original idea had been to stamp directly onto the card which I will probably still do but don't want to wste what I've done. Need to put thinking cap on!

Miserable weather here as well, been raining most of the day and was really windy in the night. Went out early for breakfast and came home and then went out again for a drive round because Mike didn't want to stay in.

I have no idea what image you have been stamping but is it one that you could use the spares to decoupage with ?

No Jen couldn't do decoupage with them. However here are some photos of what I did do. Top one is how they were meant to look and next two are using up some of samples. They are stamped in blue and embossed with stardust embossing powder. I've added glitter to the second two as I didn't like the edges.






Glitter and sparkle doesn't show up very well on scans.

I liked it as soon as I saw the sample at Ally Pally but it is a bit limiting as there are not may things you can do with it other than use it with blue or possibly black!

I suppose you could use sepia or you could use brown and have the whole card in shades of brown to make it look old/distressed But yes I see what you mean

Lets just say the health ain't too good
I have been on having a look but wasn't quite up to joining in
I did miss Moovision on Friday but have managed to catch up with it since
Not the same though
This is my first decent day in a wee while so hoping that it is the start of things levelling out
I think that cold I had a wee while back took a LOT more out of me than I realised
Back now though

I only said to Jan yesterday I hadnt seen ya about,
if the cold you had is anything like the one I had it
will take a while to get over, I am 3 weeks now and
it still hasnt gone completely so look after ya self

maybe I need a holiday in the sun, laying on a beach
drinking Pina Coladas sounds great

The lying in the sun sounds great
Unfortunately the Pina Colados are out for me
I can just imagine what even one would do to me on my medication

or brayer the stamp using 'sunset' colours rainbow pad?
